Manimala is an Indian actress, who appeared predominantly in Tamil movie industry, in lead and supporting roles. She has acted in movies such as Anbu Karangal, Vallavanukku Vallavan, Motor Sundaram Pillai and Periya Idathu Penn. [1] [2]

Periya Idathu Penn is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film, directed by T. R. Ramanna. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, B. Saroja Devi, M. R. Radha and T. R. Rajakumari. The film, produced by T. R. Ramanna, had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and was released on 10 May 1963. The film was blockbuster, the highest-grossing film of the year and ran more than 100 days. The film was remade in Telugu as Sabhash Suri and in Hindi as Jawab. The story of the 1982 Tamil film Sakalakala Vallavan was also inspired by this film.

Kamal Haasan's first full-fledged film as hero Maalai Sooda Vaa, had Murthy as a script writer.

Vallavanukku Vallavan is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film, directed by R. Sundaram, son of T. R. Sundaram, and written by A. L. Narayanan. Music was by Vedha. It has an ensemble cast including Gemini Ganesan, Thangavelu, Manohar, Ashokan, Ramadas, Manimala and Manorama. The film was Modern Theatres' 100th film, and is a remake of the 1963 Hindi film Ustadon Ke Ustad.

Anbu Karangal is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language drama film, directed by K. Shankar and produced by N. Periannana. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Devika, Manimala and K. Balaji. It was released on 19 February 1965.

Anandan, born as C. L. Anandan, was an Indian actor and producer who was active in Tamil cinema as well in Malayalam cinema during the second half of the 20th century. He was well known for his hero, supporting, and villain roles. In a career spanning close to three decades, he acted in about 60 films in Tamil and Malayalam, in which 25 films had him as hero. Anandan debuted in a supporting role in the Tamil movie Thandhai, and later he holds the heroic role in Vijayapuri Veeran. He made a move on the Malayalam film industry; Kaattumaina was his first Malayalam movie, which was also re-shot in Tamil. He appeared in a song sequence "Us Paar Saajan" as a fisherman dancer from the Hindi film Chori Chori (1956).

C. K. Saraswathi was an Indian actress who featured mainly in Tamil films. She was active in the field from 1945 till 1998. During the early days she featured in character roles and in comedy tracks. Later she became famous for her acting in negative character roles. Due to her physical appearance, she was mostly given the role of a mother in rich families. The more noteworthy character she did was in Thillana Mohanambal as Vadivambal (Vadivu), mother of Mohanambal.

Monagallaku Monagadu is a 1966 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by S. D. Lal and produced by Rama Sundaram. It is a remake of the Hindi film Ustadon Ke Ustad (1963) and its Tamil version Vallavanukku Vallavan (1965). The film stars S. V. Ranga Rao, Haranath, Prabhakara Reddy, Raavi Kondala Rao, Krishna Kumari and G. Rathna. It was released on 14 January 1966, and became a commercial success.

This is the filmography of Indian actor Jaishankar, who performed roles ranging from hero to villain. He was credited on screen with the title of Makkal Kalaignar Jaishankar or Makkal Tamilan in most of his films, sometimes referred to as Thennagathu James Bond. In the era dominated by Sivaji Ganesan, M. G. Ramachandran and Ravichandran ,Gemini Ganesan, he created his own niche with portrayals of westernised characters.

Hemalatha was an Indian actress of Telugu cinema, of Andhra Pradesh, India. She acted in more than 100 films during the 1950s to 1976. The first movie she acted was Palletooru. She retired from movies in 1976, with Seethamma Santhanam being the film she last appeared. After retiring from movies, she was involved in Brahma Kumaris movement in Hyderabad till her death.
