The Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic was an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that took place at the Brandon Curling Club in Brandon, Manitoba. The tournament was held in a triple-knockout format. The tournament, started in 1998 as part of the World Curling Tour and was held until 2011. Curlers from Manitoba dominated the event. The event was cancelled in 2012. [1]

The 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's curling championship, was held at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, February 25, 2006 – March 6, 2006. The tournament consisted of 12 teams, one from each of Canada's provinces, one from Canada's territories and the defending champion, whose team is known as Team Canada. The tournament was the 25th anniversary of the Hearts. The winner would be Kelly Scott's British Columbia rink who defeated the defending champions, Jennifer Jones in the final.

Lesley Kaitlyn Lawes is a Canadian curler. Lawes was the long time third for the Jennifer Jones team that represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics where they won the gold medal. They were the first women's team to go through the Olympics undefeated and the first Manitoba based curling team to win at the Olympics. Lawes curled with John Morris in the mixed doubles event at the 2018 Winter Olympics where they won gold. This win made her and Morris the first Canadian curlers to win two Olympic gold medals, and Lawes was the first to win gold in two consecutive Olympics.
The 1993 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from February 27 to March 6, 1993 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba. The total attendance for the week was a then-record 88,022, which broke the previous mark set in 1991 by over 15,000.
The Manitoba Curling Association Bonspiel is the annual Manitoba Curling Association bonspiel held at the end of every January in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. It is the largest curling bonspiel in the world with the tournament setting a record in 1988 with 1280 curling teams, as well as the oldest, with the first edition taking place in 1888. The tournament is unseeded and can have the top teams in the world facing first time curlers or otherwise. The current editions of the MCA Bonspiel qualifies 3 Manitoban teams into the men's provincial championship which is currently named the Viterra Championship.

The 2012 Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Manitoba's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 25 to 29 at the Portage Credit Union Centre in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winning team of Jennifer Jones, Kaitlyn Lawes, Jill Officer and Dawn Askin represented Manitoba at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where they finished round robin with a 9–2 record, which was enough to finish 1st place and clinch a spot in the playoffs. Jones would lose both the 1–2 game and the semi-final before winning the bronze medal game over Quebec.

The 2013 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from January 31 to February 10 at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park and at the Oilsands Curling Club in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Alberta last hosted the junior championships in Calgary in 2011. The winners will represent Canada at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships in Sochi, Russia.
The 2016 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 30 to December 4 at Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon, Manitoba.
The Icebreaker Challenge is an annual cashspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place in Manitoba. The Event was part of the World Curling Tour from 2017 to 2019. The 2016 event was known as the 2016 Performance Spider Midweek Special and was held in Waterloo, Ontario and was only part of the Ontario Curling Tour. The 2016 event included both genders, and in 2017 a separate women's event was added. Both the 2017 and 2018 events were held at the Granite Curling Club in Winnipeg. The 2017 event was known as the Spider Performance Icebreaker At The Granite and in 2018 it was known as the GOLDLINE Icebreaker At The Granite. Beginning in 2019 the event is being held at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Manitoba. After a four-season hiatus, the event returned in 2023 with only a women's field. In 2024, both a men's and women's event were contested.
The Manitoba Curling Tour (MCT) Championships is an annual bonspiel on the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It has been part of the WCT since 2013.
