The Manufactured Superstars are an electronic dance music DJ/production duo from Denver, Colorado consisting of Bradley Roulier and Shawn Sabo. [1]
As DJs, their performance style is high-energy, accessible and technically challenging. Their trademark stage costumes are matching NASA spacesuits and often share the stage with a six-foot-tall teddy bear. [2] Sabo and Roulier have stated that their core philosophy is, "We just wanna play great tunes and be the funnest DJs out there!"
Their DJ performances have been described as "mash-up" or "open-format" by many in the music press. It is not unusual for the pair to play in excess of 100 tunes in the span of a two-hour DJ set, and those sets often traverse from mainstream pop to underground prog-house to urban-infused electro and beyond. The duo are expanding their radio mixshows and podcasts, and their club mixes can be heard on terrestrial, satellite and webradio stations worldwide.
Manufactured Superstars have played on the mainstage at outdoor festivals including Identity Festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, the Beatport Pool Party during Miami Music Week, Red Rocks/Global Dance Festival and Lief Festival. [3] They also have club residencies at XS night club inside The Encore in Las Vegas and Beta Nightclub in Denver, the latter of which Roulier is the owner. Other clubs they have also played at include LAVO, Pacha and Greenhouse in New York; Fluxx and Voyeur in San Diego; Playhouse in Los Angeles; Arkadia and LIV in Miami. [4]
Formed in 2006, the Manufactured Superstars started on the American club scene of the late 1990s. Both are experienced producers; Roulier was also a leading club promoter in Colorado, and SABO traveled the U.S. as a drum-and-bass DJ and had had 20 commercial vinyl drum-and-bass releases. Roulier is a co-founder and founding member of leading digital music retailer, Beatport. Sabo was an original employee of Beatport and he remains a member today.
In 2009, The Manufactured Superstars played at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and in 2011 at a private event celebrating the inaugural launch of the Virgin Galactic space port.
The duo's music and avatars have featured in the social-networking, geo-based-location video game, BOOYAH's 'Nightclub City: DJ Rivals'.
The Manufactured Superstars’ recording deal with Black Hole Recordings has seen releases such as: "Angry Circus" and "Drummer Drums"; "Take Me Over" featuring Scarlett Quinn (video directed by Christopher Andrews); "Serious" featuring Selina Albright; and "Drunk Text" featuring Lea Luna. "Take Me Over" received immense support on radio and TV, including charting "top 3" on SiriusXM Radio for the audio single and BPM-TV (Canada) for the music video. In 2011, an E.P. titled Freak On You (Black Hole) was released.
2012 saw the release of the following Manufactured Superstars’ singles: with Jeziel Quintela featuring Christian Burns, "Silver Splits The Blue"; a collaboration with L.A. Riots featuring Selina Albright, "Born To Rock"; a collaboration with Luciana titled "Calling All The Lovers". 2012 also saw the beginning of The Manufactured Superstars’ music being aired on iHeartRadio.com's "Evolution" radio show, which is broadcast on select Clear Channel terrestrial radio stations including 101.7FM in Boston.
In 2013 the Manufactured Superstars vs JQA Remix of Tiestio ft BT's "Love Comes Again" for Magik Muzik was released.
Tijs Michiel Verwest, known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer. He was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Mag readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources.
Above & Beyond are an electronic music group consisting of English DJs Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Finnish DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, they are the owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and also host a weekly radio show titled Group Therapy Radio. The trio has been consistently ranked among DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs Poll, having placed at No. 6 in 2007, No. 4 in 2008 & 2009, No. 5 in 2010 & 2011, No. 51 in 2018, No. 22 in 2019, No. 19 in 2020, No. 21 in 2021, No. 30 in 2022, and most recently No. 40 in 2023.
Robert Ferguson, known professionally as Fergie, is a Northern Irish DJ and electronic music artist from Larne. He has been an internationally touring DJ and a music producer for over 20 years. He presented a radio show on BBC Radio 1 for over four years while recording 13 Essential Mixes for the station. He was featured in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll seven years in a row and currently holds the record for the highest new entry since the poll began, achieved when he was voted 8th in 2000.
Gabriel & Dresden is an American electronic music duo comprising Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden, formed in San Francisco, California. They collaborated from 2001 to 2008, then again from 2011 to the present. During that time, they have created numerous hit songs and remixes, some of which are considered classics. They won the coveted Winter Music Conference IDMA award for "Best American DJ" twice, in 2007 and 2008, the latter time on the same day that the group split up. The pair reunited in early 2011 and proceeded on a reunion tour, which began at Ruby Skye in San Francisco on March 4, 2011. They produced three studio albums together: self-titled album (2006), The Only Road (2017) which was released after an 11-year hiatus period, and Remedy (2020).
Don Pepijn Schipper, better known by his stage name Don Diablo, is a Dutch DJ, digital artist, record producer, musician and songwriter of electronic dance music. He is one of the pioneers of the future house genre and was ranked sixth in the Top 100 DJs – 2020 list by DJ Mag. He was also ranked number one Producer of the Year for 2018 by 1001Tracklists. In 2016, he was ranked the number one Future House Artist of the Year on Beatport.
Dash Berlin is a Dutch electronic music group started in 2007 in The Hague by Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. Dash Berlin were voted the seventh most popular DJs in the world according to DJ Mag in 2012; Kalberg and Molijn were record producers. Kalberg and Molijn left the group in 2019 and returned in 2021 after winning a legal dispute against Jeffrey Sutorius over the "Dash Berlin" trademark. Since 2022 Ryan Fieret is the frontman of the group.
The Prototypes is a British drum and bass project by producer Nick White. Until May 2023, it was a duo alongside fellow producer Chris Garvey. Founded in Brighton, England, in the late 2000s, by 2010 they had released their first singles on labels such as Formation Records and Viper Recordings, and from 2011 to 2013 were signed to Shogun Audio. They have released a number of EPs, and have received radio and live PA support from DJs such as Matrix & Futurebound. Signing exclusively to Viper Recordings in 2014, in the following months the duo released a number of promo singles for a debut album. Their resulting single, "Pale Blue Dot" ranked as Beatport's second top selling drum and bass track of the year. The track was also nominated for Best Track at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards, with The Prototypes also nominated for Best Producer, Best Music Video, and Best DJ.

Betsie Larkin is an American vocalist, songwriter and guest writer/vocalist based in San Francisco, California, United States. Her first EDM collaborations with Ferry Corsten, "Made of Love" and "Feel You", appeared on Corsten's album Twice in a Blue Moon. Soon after its release, the single "Made of Love" made the top 40 in the Netherlands. In 2008 it was voted the fifth track overall on Armin Van Buuren's radio program A State of Trance, number one on Above and Beyond Group Therapy Radio, and reached the number one position on Corsten's Countdown's 100th episode. "Made of Love" was the second single and the first vocal track to be released from the Twice In A Blue Moon album. There is also an official video. Larkin joined Corsten as his tour kicked off in Malaysia and has joined him for numerous shows all over the globe.
Ørjan Nilsen is a Norwegian producer and DJ ranked inside the Top 250 DJs in his genre by the annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll. His debut studio album In My Opinion was released in 2011, followed by No Saint Out of Me in 2013 and Prism in 2018. His discography features collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Fingerling among others.
Felguk is the stage name of the Brazilian DJs and record producer duo Felipe Lozinsky and Gustavo Rozenthal. The duo performed - and had their single "2nite" as the track for the official trailer - at the dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival 2010. Later that year they played at Nocturnal Festival 2010, and peaked at #2 in Beatport with their remix of the 2007 dance hit "Exceeder". Felguk have also remixed Madonna's 2009 single, Flo Rida featuring David Guetta "Club Can't Handle Me", and The Black Eyed Peas "The Time ".
Axel Christofer Hedfors, better known by his stage name Axwell, is a Swedish DJ, record producer, remixer and owner of Axtone Records. He is a member of Swedish House Mafia along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. He is a two-time DJ Awards winner, and in 2013 he was placed 19th on the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll.
Nick Rotteveel, professionally known as Nicky Romero or Monocule, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer from Amerongen, Utrecht Province. He has worked with, and received support from DJs, such as Tiësto, Fedde le Grand, Sander van Doorn, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Armand van Helden, Avicii and Hardwell. He currently ranks at number 20 on DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJs poll. He is known for his viral hit song "Toulouse".
Daddy's Groove are an Italian house music group formed by Carlo Grieco and Peppe Folliero. Based in Naples, Daddy's Groove have co-produced, remixed and handled the mix and master for artists such as Martin Garrix, Bono, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Bob Sinclar, Axwell, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Sia, Nicki Minaj, Celine Dion, Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston, Usher etc, and Italian Artists Alessandra Amoroso, The Kolors, Eros Ramazzotti as among others.
