Marcus Laurence "Marc" Robinson (born 22 September 1953) is an Australian former politician. He was a Labor member of the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly for Fraser from 1979 to 1982. In 1984, he was expected to win preselection to stand for the federal seat of Fraser, but was unexpectedly defeated by John Langmore. [1]

Fraser Island, officially K'gari, is a World Heritage-listed sand island along the south-eastern coast in the Wide Bay–Burnett region, Queensland, Australia. The island is approximately 250 km (160 mi) north of the state capital, Brisbane, and is within the Fraser Coast Region local government area. The world heritage listing includes the island, its surrounding waters and parts of the nearby mainland which make up the Great Sandy National Park. In the 2021 census, the island had a population of 152 people. Up to 500,000 people visit the island each year.

Fraser Anning's Conservative National Party, also known as the Conservative National Party or simply the Conservative Nationals, was a national conservative political party in Australia founded by Fraser Anning in April 2019, when he was a senator for Queensland. Anning had previously been a senator for One Nation and Katter's Australian Party, and sat as an independent before founding the new party. The party contested the 2019 federal election, but failed to win a seat.
