Marcel Robert Trophy

The Marcel Robert Trophy is awarded annually to the Scholastic Player of the Year in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The winner is the player who best combines on-ice performance with success in school.

The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The Memorial Cup trophy was established by Captain James T. Sutherland to honour those who died in service during World War I. It was rededicated during the 2010 tournament to honour all soldiers who died fighting for Canada in any conflict.

Dale Martin Hawerchuk was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. Drafted first overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, Hawerchuk played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 16 seasons as a member of the Jets, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, and Philadelphia Flyers. He won the NHL's Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year in 1982 and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in his second year of eligibility in 2001. Hawerchuk served as the head coach of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League from 2010 to 2019.

The Michael Bossy Trophy is awarded annually to the player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) judged to be the best professional prospect. The award is named after former New York Islanders forward Mike Bossy, who played in the QMJHL prior to his Hockey Hall of Fame career.

The Guy Carbonneau Trophy is awarded annually to the player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) judged to be the best defensive forward. The winner is determined by the number of face-offs won, plus-minus differential, the player's role within the team, and the number of scoring opportunities. The award is named after Guy Carbonneau, who won three Selke Trophies for best defensive forward in his distinguished National Hockey League (NHL) career. He played for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens as a junior.

The Kevin Lowe Trophy is awarded annually to the player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) judged to be the best defensive defenceman. The winner is determined by the number of bodychecks, plus-minus differential, the player's role within the team, and the number of scoring opportunities.

The William Hanley Trophy is awarded annually by Ontario Hockey League to the most sportsmanlike player. It is named for Bill Hanley, a former secretary-manager of the Ontario Hockey Association who served in that capacity for twenty-five years. The William Hanley Trophy was first awarded in 1975. The winner of the William Hanley Trophy is nominated for the CHL Sportsman of the Year.

The David Branch Player of the Year award is given out annually to the player judged to be the most outstanding in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). It is selected from three most valuable players of the respective leagues; the Red Tilson Trophy of Ontario Hockey League (OHL), the Michel Brière Memorial Trophy of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), and the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The trophy was known as the CHL Player of the Year award until the 2019–20 season, when it was renamed for David Branch who served as president of the CHL from 1996 to 2019.

The Michel Brière Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the Most Valuable Player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). It is named for former QMJHL and National Hockey League (NHL) player Michel Brière, who was killed in a car crash.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">CHL Top Scorer Award</span> Annual award to a Canadian Hockey League player

The CHL Top Scorer Award is given out annually to the highest-scoring player in the Canadian Hockey League. It was first awarded in 1994. The winner of the CHL Top Scorer Award will be one of the recipients of the constituent league scoring champions; Jean Béliveau Trophy (QMJHL), Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy (OHL), or the Bob Clarke Trophy (WHL). The only two players to win more than once are Sidney Crosby and Conor Garland.

The Michel Bergeron Trophy is awarded annually to the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)'s "Offensive Rookie of the Year." From 1969 to 1980, the trophy was awarded to the QMHL's "Overall Rookie of the Year." The Bergeron trophy's counterpart since 1980, the Raymond Lagacé Trophy, is awarded to the "Defensive Rookie of the Year." The QMJHL created the RDS Cup in 1991, as a reunified Rookie of the Year award.

The Guy Lafleur Trophy is awarded annually to the Most Valuable Player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) playoffs. It is named for Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and QMJHL alumnus Guy Lafleur.

The Émile Bouchard Trophy is awarded annually by the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) to the player judged to be the best "Defenceman of the Year."

The David Desharnais Trophy is awarded annually to the most sportsmanlike player in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League since the 1970–71 season. It was originally given as a team trophy awarded to the league's West Division champions for the 1969–70 season, and known as the Frank J. Selke Memorial Trophy in recognition of National Hockey League general manager and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Frank J. Selke. The award was renamed for David Desharnais prior to the 2024–25 season.

The Paul Dumont Trophy is awarded annually to the "Personality of the Year" in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The award can be won by anyone connected to the league, including players and staff. It was named after former league president Paul Dumont.

The 2004–05 QMJHL season was the 36th season in the history of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The QMJHL inaugurates the Guy Carbonneau Trophy, awarded to the league's "Best Defensive Forward," and the Kevin Lowe Trophy, awarded to the league's "Best Defensive Defenceman." Sixteen teams played 70 games each in the schedule.

The 2003–04 QMJHL season was the 35th season in the history of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The league continued to expand to new eastern markets, with teams relocating to Maine and Prince Edward Island. Conferences were abandoned and teams were divided into three divisions by geography. Sixteen teams played 70 games each in the schedule.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">1994 Memorial Cup</span> Canadian junior mens ice hockey championship

The 1994 Memorial Cup was held May 14–22 at the Colisée de Laval in Laval, Quebec. It was the 76th annual Memorial Cup competition and determined the major junior ice hockey champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Participating teams were the host Laval Titan from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, as well as the winners of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Western Hockey League, which were the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, North Bay Centennials and Kamloops Blazers. Kamloops won their second Memorial Cup, defeating Laval in the final game.

The 2009–10 QMJHL season was the 41st season of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The regular season, which consisted of eighteen teams playing 68 games each, began on September 10, 2009, and ended on March 14, 2010.

The 2021–22 QMJHL season was the 53rd season of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The league returned to a full 68-game regular season beginning on October 1, 2021, and ending on May 1, 2022.
