Marcelino Nicolas Lopez (born May 6, 1986) is an Argentine professional boxer. He held the WBC Latino lightweight title.

Professional career

On May 28, 2010 Lopez won vacant WBC Latino Lightweight title against Alberto Leopoldo Santillan.

On August 23, Lopez won Argentina (FAB) lightweight title against Sergio Gonzalez. [1]

On January 27, 2018 Nino won by TKO over Breidis Prescott, dropped Prescott in the fifth round before repeating job and seeing the Colombian stay down for the ten count. [2]

Julio César Chávez Mexican boxer

Julio César Chávez González, also known as Julio César Chávez Sr., is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1980 to 2005. A multiple-time world champion in three weight divisions, Chávez was listed by The Ring magazine as the world's best boxer, pound for pound, from 1990 to 1993. During his career he held the WBC super featherweight title from 1984 to 1987, the WBA and WBC lightweight titles between 1987 and 1989, the WBC light welterweight title twice between 1989 and 1996, and the IBF light welterweight title from 1990 to 1991. The World Boxing Council (WBC) is an international professional boxing organization. It is among the four major organizations which sanction professional boxing bouts, alongside the World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).

Bobby Chacon American boxer

Bobby Chacon was an American two-time world boxing champion at Featherweight (1974) and Super Featherweight (1982). Chacon had a record of 59 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw, with 47 wins coming by knockout. He held victories over seven other men who held a world title, and later avenged 5 of his 7 losses. The world champions he beat were: Rubén Olivares, Chucho Castillo, Danny Lopez, Alfredo Marcano, Rafael Limón, Cornelius Boza-Edwards and Arturo Frias.

Daniel Ponce de León is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2014. He was a world champion two weight classes, having held the WBO super bantamweight title from 2005 and 2008, and the WBC featherweight title from 2012 to 2013. As an amateur, de León won a bronze medal in the flyweight division at the 1999 Pan American Games, and was a member of the 2000 Mexican Olympic team in the featherweight division.

Yuriorkis Gamboa Toledano is a Cuban professional boxer. He is a former unified featherweight world champion, having held the WBA and IBF titles between 2009 and 2011, as well as the WBA interim championship in both the super featherweight and lightweight divisions. As an amateur he won a gold medal in the flyweight division at the 2004 Olympics, and bronze in the featherweight division at the 2005 World Championships.

Héctor López Colín was a Mexican professional boxer. He challenged for the WBC lightweight title in 1993 and the WBO light welterweight title twice between 1995 and 1999. At regional level he held the WBC-NABF light welterweight title twice between 1992 and 1993, and the WBO-NABO light welterweight title between 1996 and 1997. As an amateur he represented Mexico at the 1984 Olympics, winning a silver medal in the bantamweight division.

Kevin Mitchell is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2003 to 2015. He challenged twice for lightweight world championships; the WBO title in 2012; and the WBC title in 2015. Breidis Enrique Prescott Consuegra is a Colombian former professional boxer. In his early career he had a reputation as a formidable puncher, winning 18 of his first 20 fights by knockout. In 2008, Prescott first became known on the world stage when he upset heavily favoured and then-undefeated Olympian Amir Khan, which gave rise to Prescott's nickname of "The Khanqueror". Teófimo Andrés López Rivera is an American professional boxer. He is a former unified lightweight world champion, having held the IBF title from 2019 to November 2021, and the WBA (Super), WBO, and The Ring magazine titles from October 2020 until November 2021. As an amateur, he represented Honduras at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Devin Haney vs. Jorge Linares was a professional boxing match contested between WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney, and former three-division world champion Jorge Linares. The bout took place at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 29, 2021, with Haney's WBC title on the line. Haney won by unanimous decision with the judges scoring the bout 116-112, 116-112, 115-113 in his favor.
