Marcelle Michau (born 14 August 1963) is a South African former cricketer. He played in 76 first-class and 74 List A matches between 1981/82 and 1994/95. [1]

The Merry Widow is a 1934 film adaptation of the 1905 operetta of the same name by Franz Lehár. The picture was directed and produced by Ernst Lubitsch starring Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald with a supporting cast featuring Edward Everett Horton, Una Merkel, Sterling Holloway, Donald Meek, Jason Robards Sr. and Akim Tamiroff. A French-language version was produced at the same time and released in France the same year as La Veuve joyeuse with some but not all of the same cast. He made his only Test appearance for South Africa during their 1921 tour of New Zealand. He played as a lock for the 1st Test of the series, a 13–5 loss at Carisbrook. Michau died in 1945, in Boksburg, at the age of 54.

<i>Madame Roulin and Her Baby</i>

Madame Roulin and Her Baby is an 1888 painting by Vincent van Gogh. Done in oil on canvas, the painting depicts Augustine and Marcelle Roulin, the later of whom was an infant. The Roulin family became acquaintances of van Gogh after the family's patriarch, postman Joseph Roulin, met Van Gogh following the artist's relocation to the town of Arles. The painting is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Shanice Marcelle is a Canadian female volleyball player and assistant coach for the York Lions women's volleyball team. She is a five-time CIS volleyball champion as a university athlete and two-time Bundesliga champion as a professional athlete. Individually, she was twice awarded the CIS women's volleyball player of the year in 2011 and 2013, was the 2011 CIS volleyball championship MVP, and was named the 2013 winner of the BLG Award as the best female athlete in all of Canadian Interuniversity Sport. She joined the Canadian women's national volleyball team in 2011 and is a member of the beach volleyball national team.
