Marckell Patterson (born 1979, Eupora, Mississippi) is an American professional basketball player.

He played as a shooting guard and is a native of Eupora, Mississippi. [1] He is a 1997 graduate of Eupora High School and he played college basketball at Mississippi State University. [1]

Taking place in the midst of the American civil rights movement, the game between the racially integrated Loyola team and the all-white Mississippi State team is remembered as a milestone in the desegregation of college basketball.
