Dr. Marco Cardinale (born in Formia, Italy) is the Executive Director of Research and Scientific Support at Aspetar in Qatar. Before joining Aspetar he was the Head of Sports Physiology at Aspire Academy in Qatar. He was the former Head of Sports Science and Research of the British Olympic Association. His main research work has been on the use of vibration as an exercise intervention, hormonal responses to exercise and neuromuscular adaptations to strength training. Was Head of Science for Team GB at the Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympics.
In November 2007 Dr Cardinale was appointed by Sir Clive Woodward as the lead physiologist of the Elite Performance Programme of the British Olympic Association and created with him the Olympic Coaching Programme. [1]
He is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London, [2] and Visiting Professor at Northumbria University, Newcastle. He holds a patent on an exercise device and is the Editor of Strength and Conditioning: Biological Principles and Practical Applications, published by Wiley-Blackwell. [3]

Dr Craig Keith Pickering is an English retired sprinter and bobsleigher. As a sprinter, he was based at the Marshall Milton Keynes Athletics Club; however, he also ran for the University of Bath and Newham and Essex Beagles. Following his retirement from professional sport, he became an academic researcher and gained a professional doctorate in sports performance from the University of Central Lancashire. He relocated to Australia in 2015 and currently works as director of performance sustainability at Athletics Australia.
Darren Cheesman is an ex-England and Great Britain Hockey field hockey International who is now the Head Coach of Berliner HC in the German Bundesliga as well as the Assistant Coach for the German U21 Men National Team. He is also a Coach Educator for FIH.
Great Britain and Northern Ireland, represented by the British Olympic Association (BOA), competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012 as the host nation and the team of selected athletes was officially known as Team GB. British athletes have competed at every Summer Olympic Games in the modern era, alongside Australia, France and Greece, though Great Britain is the only one to have won at least one gold medal at all of them. Peter Eriksson is an athletics coach and formerly the head coach of the Olympic and Paralympic programs for both British Athletics and Athletics Canada. Eriksson has over 30 years of coaching experience in speed skating and track and field; and has led Canada to record medal performances in the 2016 Olympic Games, 2015 World Championships and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Under his leadership as performance director and head coach, the nations that he has worked with has generated over 240 medals at major International Competitions.
Adam Ahmed Gemili is a British sprinter. He is the 2014 European champion at 200 metres, three-time European champion in the 4 x 100 metres relay, and part of the Great Britain team that won gold at the 2017 World Championships in the same event. He has finished fourth in the 200 m at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and fourth and fifth in separate editions of the World Championships in the same event.

Danny Kerry MBE is an English international field hockey coach. He was the head coach for the England and Great Britain Men's teams from September 2018 until January 2022. He had previously been Head Coach for the England and Great Britain Women's teams from 2005 to 2012 and 2014 to 2018. During this tenure the national teams medalled at Commonwealth, European, World and Olympic level. Kerry was voted Team GB coach of the year in 2016 following the Rio Olympic Games, and awarded the Sam Musabini medal by UK Coaching.
