Marco Mariani (born 14 June 1968, [1] in Venice) is an Italian curler from Cortina d'Ampezzo, Belluno, Italy. [2]

Mariani competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics inTurin, Italy, where he finished in 7th place. [3]

He is currently the coach of the Chinese women's curling team [2] and took them to 7th place at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. [4]

Personal life

Mariani is married and has one daughter. [2]

The Collie Campbell Memorial Award was created in honour of Canadian Collie Campbell, who served as president of the International Curling Federation, now known as the World Curling Federation, from 1969 until his death in 1978.
