Margaret Rwabushaija (born 12 August 1956) is a member of the Ugandan Parliament [1] [2] and Workers Representative at the National level and a teacher by profession. [3] [4] She is an Independent politician. [3]
In 1969, she completed her Primary Leaving Examinations from Namukozi Primary School and later joined Namasagali College for Uganda Certificate of Education in 1975. [3] In the same year (1975), she completed East African Certificate of Education from Kamuli Parents Secondary School and joined Makerere University to pursue her bachelor's degree in arts in 1979. [3] In the same year (1979), she returned to Makerere University to obtained a Diploma in Education. [3] In 2001, she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Uganda Management Institute. [3] Margaret returned to Uganda Management Institute in 2008 for Masters of Management Studies. [3]
Between 2009 - 2015, she served as the Deputy Head Teacher at Kitante Hill School, and Lubiri Secondary School( in 1998 - 2008). [3] She taught at several schools such as Mengo Senior School (1981-1983), City High School(1984 -1997), and Kitante Hill School (1979 -1980). [3]
From 2016 to 2021, she was the Member of Parliament at the Parliament of Uganda in the 10th parliament. [3]
She served on the Professional Body as the full member at Uganda National Teachers Union, Commonwealth Teachers Group and Forum for East African Teachers Union. [3] She also served on additional role as the Member on Committee on Education and Sports. [3] [5]
Christine Hellen Amongin Aporu is a Ugandan educator and politician. She served as the State Minister for Teso Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. She represented Kumi District in Parliament as a women's representative.
Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde, also Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde, is a Ugandan educator and politician. She was the State Minister for Primary Education in the Ugandan Cabinet for five years. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing John Chrysostom Muyingo who became State Minister for Higher Education. She was succeeded by Joyce Moriku.
Richard Muhumuza Gafabusa is a Ugandan environmentalist, administrative lawyer and politician. He is the elected Member of Parliament for Bwamba County and a representative for NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. He is a member of the Committee on Science and Technology, the Committee on Legal and Parliamentary Affairs and the NRM Parliamentary Caucus in the 10th Parliament of Uganda. In 2021 he was re elected into parliament. In the eleventh parliament, Gafabusa serves on the Committee on Trade, Tourism and Industry.
Rosemary Bikaako Tumusiime is a Ugandan marketing professional, public administrator, feminist and politician. She is the elected Member of Parliament for Entebbe Municipality and is a representative for NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. She is the first female representative for the constituency in over three decades and succeeded Muhammad Kawuma who served for two consecutive terms from 2006 to 2016. In the 10th Parliament, she serves as a member of the Committee on Equal Opportunities and the Committee on Presidential Affairs. She is also a member of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus, the Buganda Parliamentary Caucusand the treasurer of the Network for African Women Ministers and Parliamentarians (NAWMP).
Molly Lanyero is a Ugandan politician who was elected to the 10th Parliament (2016-2021), as a District Woman Representative representing Lamwo District.
Jesca Ababiku is a Ugandan educator and politician. She is currently a member of the eleventh Parliament of Uganda, representing the people of Adjumani district in one of the parliamentary seats reserved for women. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement and the Chairperson of the Presidential Affairs (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda under the chairmanship of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the current president of the Republic of Uganda. In the 2021 Uganda general elections, Ababiku retained her seat democratically for the third time as women member of parliament for Adjumani district since 2011.
Rose Atima Ayaka is a Ugandan politician, who served as the elected District Woman Representative for Maracha District, in the 10th Ugandan Parliament.

Rose Lilly Akello is a Ugandan politician and social worker representing Karenga District as the district woman member of parliament in the eleventh parliament of Uganda. In the ninth and tenth parliament, she served as the district woman member of parliament representing Kaabong District. Rose opted to represent Karenga District instead of Kaabong district because Karenga was carved out of Kaabong on 1 July 2019. She became the Kaabong District Woman MP after winning a by-election in 2017 against Ms Christine Tubo Nakwang. She is affiliated to the ruling political party, NRM.

Jovah Kamateeka also known as Kamateeka Jovah Karamagi is a Ugandan politician and administrator. She is the District Woman Representative of Mitooma and affiliated to National Resistance Movement political party. In the 2021-2026 election, Jovah lost the elections to Juliet Agasha Bashisha who is the current Mitooma district Woman representative under the NRM political party.
Florence Namayanja is a female Ugandan politician who was district woman representative of Bukoto County East, Masaka District. She was affiliated to the Democratic Party political party and now affiliated to National Unity Platform. In the 11th Parliament, she stood as the Candidate for LC5 Chairperson for Masaka City under the National Unity Platform although she lost the elections. She was the winner of Masaka city mayoral seat after defeating seven candidates including business tycoon, Emmanuel Lwasa with 28,824 votes.
