Marghuz Village is a manor and Union Council of the Swabi District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. [1] It is located in Swabi between Kalabat and Thandkoi and is famous for its education. People of Marghuz are well known for their love of education and have a relatively higher percentage of educated individuals. Akakhel and Yarakhel Subtribes of Mandanr Yousafzai Afghans reside in the village. Akakhel is further divided into Sultukhel, Qamral, Orhyakhel and Mamakhel tribes while Yarakhel is further divided into Baralkhel, khidadkhel and Aladkhel tribes. <https://search.worldcat.org/title/021335327>

Gar Munara is a village located on the bank of the Indus River, in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, near the town of Marghuz. Thousands of visitors across Pakistan visit Gar Munara every year, especially in summer to enjoy the Indus River. It has a population of around 5,000. Most of the people are government workers or public servants. Many of them go abroad for work. The village's only bank, HBL, is located in the center of the village. The main crops are wheat, corn, sugarcane, and tobacco. Resorts in Gar Munara include Rahat Khan Bangla and Ameer Sher Khan Bangla. Gar Munara village is surrounded by several other villages: Dhok to its east, Moosa Banda to its west, and Marghuz to its north, with the Indus River to its south. The adjoing village of Gar Akakhel has resodents belonging to Akakhel branch of Mir Ahmed Khel subtribe of Mandanr Yousafzais. Thandkoi is a historic village of Swabi District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The population is about 30,000. Thandkoi is situated on the main Jehangira-Topi road. A small village Dodher is located on its south, to the north of Thandkoi is Bamkhel, east Marghuz and to the west is Kaddi and Zaida.

Babar Saleem is a Pakistani politician hailing from Swabi District, who was a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PMLN). He is the son of late Dr. Muhammad Saleem Khan, ex-Minister of health KPK. He also served as a committee chairman and member of different committees .
