Taliqua Clancy is an Australian volleyball and beach volleyball player who represented Australia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in beach volleyball, partnered with Louise Bawden. She is the first indigenous Australian volleyball player to represent Australia at the Olympics. She has the aboriginal flag tattooed on her left wrist and painted the flag on her fingernails for the Olympic matches.
Mariafe Artacho del Solar is an Australian beach volleyball player. She represented Australia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Artacho del Solar plays as a right-side defender. Shanice Marcelle is a Canadian female volleyball player and assistant coach for the York Lions women's volleyball team. She is a five-time CIS volleyball champion as a university athlete and two-time Bundesliga champion as a professional athlete. Individually, she was twice awarded the CIS women's volleyball player of the year in 2011 and 2013, was the 2011 CIS volleyball championship MVP, and was named the 2013 winner of the BLG Award as the best female athlete in all of Canadian Interuniversity Sport. She joined the Canadian women's national volleyball team in 2011 and is a member of the beach volleyball national team.
Gail Castro is an American beach volleyball player. Between 1982 and 1990 she played 190 tournaments. After finishing second in the American trials with partner Deb Richardson, they competed in the women's tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 1997 she played her 11th WPVA tour. She has also played with Gayle Stammer.
Amanda Glover is a British beach volleyball player. She competed in the women's tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
