[1] [2] She earned her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1995 under the supervision of Ron Rivest. [3] Betke was designated a Senior Member of the ACM in October 2012. [4]
Betke made important contributions in computer vision, [5] medical image analysis, [6] human-computer interfaces, [7] and applications of machine learning.
