Maria Balaba (born 1 May 1988) is a Latvian figure skater. She is the 2004–2005 Latvian national champion. Balaba was born in Riga, and is coached by Galina Efremenko.

Andrejs Vlaščenko is a figure skater who represented Latvia (1992–94) and Germany (1994–04). In 1998, he placed fourth at the European Championships in Milan and fifth at the World Championships in Minneapolis.

The Lithuanian Figure Skating Championships are an annual national competition held to crown the national champions of Lithuania. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing, across different levels. Some categories are not held in every year due to a lack of entries.
