Maria Perrusi (born in Cosenza on 13 September 1991) [1] [2] is an Italian beauty queen and model. She is noted for winning Miss Italia 2009. [3]

Career

After winning Miss Italia 2009, she was featured in various runway shows, and co-hosted L'anno che verrà. She was featured on Ballando con le Stelle (hosted by Milly Carlucci) in March 2010 as a "Ballerina per una notte".

Miss Venezuela 2007

Miss Venezuela 2007 was the 54th Miss Venezuela pageant, was held in Caracas, on September 13, 2007, after four weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Dayana Mendoza, Miss Amazonas, who went on to win Miss Universe 2008.

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe pageant, was held on 23 August 2009 at the Imperial Ballroom in Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, The Bahamas. Stefanía Fernández of Venezuela was crowned by Dayana Mendoza, at the end of the event, marking the first time in Miss Universe history that a country has won back-to-back titles.
