Marianne Kaurin (born 18 May 1974) is a Norwegian writer of young adult fiction.
Her debut novel was Nærmere høst (2012). The book was about the holocaust in Norway from the perspective of a 15-year-old girl, and earned her a Sydney Taylor Book Award honorable mention and the Uprisen . She followed with Deres majestet (2016), Syden (2018)—which won the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis—and Trivselslederen (2023). [1]
Outside of writing, she is an editor in the publishing house Cappelen Damm. [1] Her books, however, have all been published by Aschehoug. [2]

She previously served as Minister of Culture from 2012 to 2013. She was 29 years of age at the time and became the youngest minister to serve in the Norwegian government. She is the first Cabinet member that is a Muslim. Tajik has served as a Member of Parliament representing Rogaland since 2017, and Oslo from 2009 to 2017. She was also the party's deputy leader from 2015 until 2022.

Aurora Aksnes, known mononymously as Aurora, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and record producer. Born in Stavanger and raised in the towns of Høle and Os, she began writing her first songs and learning dance at the age of six. After some of her songs were uploaded online and became popular in Norway, she signed a recording contract with Petroleum Records, Decca and Glassnote Records in 2014. Aurora gained recognition with her debut extended play (EP), Running with the Wolves (2015), which contained the sleeper hit "Runaway". Later that year, she provided the backing track for the John Lewis Christmas advert, singing a cover of the Oasis song "Half the World Away".

She won the silver medal in the 59 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.
