Marianne Levinsen (born 1963) is a Danish architect who has specialized in landscape architecture. She has won several awards for her contributions to the urban space, including the Eckersberg Medal and the Dreyer Honorary Award, both in 2012. [1] [2]
After graduating in architecture from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1995, Levinsen worked for the Swedish landscape architect Sven-Ingvar Andersson (1927–2007) until 2000. During this period, she also taught at the Royal Academy. Since 2002, she has run her own studio, Marianne Levinsen Landskap, based in Copenhagen. [1]
One of her early projects was designing the central garden space or atrium for the Tietgen Kollegiet (the Tietgen Dormitory) in Ørestad where she included linden trees creating poetic light effects. [3] In 2007, she created the landscaping around the Kilen building at the Copenhagen Business School which was commended by Frederiksberg Municipality in 2007. [4] Other projects have included landscaping in Gentofte for both Jægersborg Vandtårn (2008) [5] and Munkegårdsskolen (2009). [6] More recently, she has played a major part in developing plans for Vinge, an urban development near Frederikssund. [7]
Levinsen has also served as a judge in architectural competitions and has been a member of various committees, not only for the School of Architecture at the Royal Academy but also for the Danish Arts Foundation. [1]

Eva Louise Buus is a Danish artist. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she has exhibited in Denmark, Germany and Greenland. Her landscapes are principally concerned with the effects of light and darkness on the appearance of her images. In 2015, she exhibited works in Fanø Museum which she had created by subjecting plates of copper to the effects of various acids, inspired by the landscapes of the Swedish painter Carl Johan Forsberg. More recently her metallic works have drawn on his recently rediscovered watercolours of women.

Schæffergården, formerly Jægersborghus, is a Rococo-style mansion located on Jægersborg Allé in Jægersborg, Gentofte Municipality, some 15 kilometres north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The listed main building was built by court carpenter Dietrich Schäffer in 1755-1756. It has been owned by the Foundation for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation since the 1940s and is now operated as a conference centre following several renovations and expansions of the complex by architect such as Kaare Klint.

Bernstorffsvej is a major road in the Gentofte Municipality, located in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Lyngby to a five-way roundabout on Jægersborg Allé in the north. The road passes several notable Danish buildings, including Gentofte Town Hall, Helleruplund Church, the Roman Catholic, St. Theresa's Church, Hellerup Cemetery and Bernstorff Park.
Rævebakkevej Water Tower, situated on Rævebakken, 36 m above sea level, is the oldest surviving water tower in Gentofte Municipality in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1905 to a National Romantic design by Andreas Theil and decommissioned in 1972.
Jægersborg Allé is a major street in the Charlottenlund and Jægersborg neighborhoods of Gentofte Municipality in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Strandvejen in the southeast to a junction just east of Jægersborg railway station in the northwest. The first leg of the road passes through Charlottenlund Forest, and it later follows the north boundary of Bernstorff Park. It passes a number of historic buildings, including Charlottenlund Palace, Bernstorff Palace and Schæffergården.
