Eva Marianne Gernandt Lundius (born 28 April 1949) is a Swedish lawyer and judge,who served as Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of Sweden from 2010 to 2016. She was appointed Justice of the Supreme Court in 1998 and was the first female President of the Supreme Court of Sweden. [1]
Lundius comes from a family of lawyers;both her mother and grandmother worked in the legal profession,making her third-generation lawyer on her mother's side. She graduated from Lund University with a Candidate of Law degree in 1976 and served as a district court clerk for two years after graduating. In 1978 she joined the Lagerlöf och Leman law firm and worked there for 20 years,mainly on tax law and business law cases,before being appointed Justice of the Supreme Court of Sweden in 1998. In 2010 she succeeded Johan Munck as President of the Supreme Court. [2]
She is married to Johan Gernandt,lawyer and Moderate Party politician.

General Johan Ivar Hederstedt is a senior Swedish Army officer. Hederstedt was commissioned as an officer in 1966 and went on to serve as a second lieutenant in the Älvsborg Regiment. In 1981,he embarked on a United Nations mission to the volatile region of Cyprus,a commitment that was followed by another overseas assignment in 1988 when he assumed command of a UN battalion in Lebanon. Throughout the 1990s,Hederstedt held various significant roles within the military,including serving as the brigade commander of the Life Guards Brigade,the commander of the Western Army Division,the deputy chief of the operations leadership for international operations,and a military expert at the Ministry of Defence. In the year 2000,he assumed the position of Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Remarkably,his tenure in this role lasted only three years,making him the shortest-serving Supreme Commander in history.
Yvonne Kauger is an associate justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court,and was appointed to the Court's District 4 seat by Governor George Nigh in 1984,and served as chief justice from 1997 to 1998. She was born in New Cordell,Oklahoma,and grew up in Colony,Oklahoma,and is an honorary member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. Kauger founded the Gallery of the Plains Indian in Colony,Oklahoma and is also the co-founder of the Red Earth organization. Kauger also serves as Symposium Coordinator of the Sovereignty Symposium. Kauger was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2001.
Martha Lee Walters is an American labor attorney and who served as the 43rd chief justice of Oregon from 2018 to 2022;she was a member of the court from 2006 to 2022. Karin Maria Bruzelius is a Swedish-born Norwegian supreme court justice and former president of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights. In 1989,she became the first woman to be appointed Permanent Secretary of a government ministry,heading the Ministry of Transport and Communications until 1997.
