Marie Ehrling is a Swedish executive (born 5 May 1955). She received an undergraduate degree at the Stockholm School of Economics at the age of 21.
She was listed #85 in Forbes magazine's List of The World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2006. [1]
Formerly deputy chief executive of SAS, the Danish-Norwegian-Swedish airline group, which she left in 2002, after 20 years, when she was passed over for the top spot.
She went on to head TeliaSonera Sweden, the $4.8 billion Swedish subsidiary of telecommunications giant TeliaSonera. Under her leadership, TeliaSonera has acquired foreign companies and offered cutting-edge technology[ clarification needed ], and is also noted for dealing with stiff competition via layoffs.[ citation needed ] Ehrling has become a vocal advocate for deregulation of the Swedish telecom industry.
She is also a board member of Securitas AB, [2] Nordea Bank AB, Oriflame Cosmetic SA, Loomis AB, Schibsted ASA, Safegate AB, the Centre for Advanced Studies in Leadership at the Stockholm School of Economics, Disruptive Pharma and the World Childhood Foundation.
She is married to Lars Mydland with one son, Jacob Westerberg, from a previous marriage with the former politician Bengt Westerberg.

Televerket was a Swedish State authority acting as a state-owned corporation, responsible for telecommunications in Sweden from 1853 until 1993. Originally it was named Kongl. Elektriska Telegraf-Werket, which was founded in 1853. Its name changed to Kongl. Telegrafverket in 1871, Kungl. Telegrafverket in 1903, the prefix Kungl. was dropped in 1946 and the name was further modernised to Televerket in 1953. The Telecom corruption scandal is a 2012 corruption case involving the daughter of President Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan, Gulnara Karimova, accepting bribes from several foreign telecom companies in exchange for contracts to do business within Uzbekistan. Revelations showed that Karimova was paid bribes through a series of shell companies by a series of firms seeking to negotiate with her directly. In addition, it was discovered that more industries had paid bribes for access to Uzbekistan than simply telecom firms.
Johan Eric Dennelind is a Swedish businessman, and a former CEO of du, a United Arab Emirates telecom company, from September 2019 to September 2020. He was previously president and CEO of Telia Company, the dominant telephone company and mobile network operator in Sweden and Finland.
