The Marietta Ice Center is the oldest ice skating rink in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Located in the suburban city of Marietta, it contains two sheets of ice, a larger rink that is regulation hockey sized, and a smaller rink that is more suitable for open skating.
Constructed in the 1970s as part of Parkaire Mall, the surrounding mall was demolished and reopened in 1982 as a standalone building behind Kroger. It was the original practice facility for the Atlanta Flames. In 2016, the Marietta Ice Center underwent $1.5 million in renovations aimed mainly at improving the quality of the ice.

The Toyota Sports Center is a practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings, and the Ontario Reign, located on 555 North Nash Street in El Segundo, California. The $24 million, 135,000 square feet (12,500 m2) facility broke ground on April 28, 1999 and officially opened on March 5, 2000.
Chattahoochee Technical College is a public technical college in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is governed by the Technical College System of Georgia and has eight campuses in the north-northwest metro-Atlanta area, and another just outside the region. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) to award technical certificates of credit, diplomas, and associate degrees. The college was formed in 2009 as the result of the merger of Appalachian Technical College, Chattahoochee Technical College, and North Metro Technical College.
Cobb Galleria is a large office park with six skyscrapers located in the Cumberland/Vinings district of Cobb County in the U.S. state of Georgia. Its location is sandwiched between Marietta, Smyrna, Sandy Springs and the City of Atlanta. It is near many hotels and parks, the Cumberland Mall, the Cobb Galleria Centre, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center and the intersections of Interstate 75 and Interstate 285. It also adjoins other large business and residential districts, including the Vinings Overlook and Circle 75.

LuLu International Shopping Mall is a shopping mall located in Edappally Kochi, Kerala. The mall its car parking facility, the convention center and the hotel altogether got total area of 1.85 million sq ft. With an average daily footfall of more than 80,000, it is one of the most visited places in Kerala. Spanning 17 acres (6.9 ha), the mall has a total retail space of 6.2 lakh sq ft. A hotel and convention center totaling 0.35 million sq feet is also build along with the project. The mall was opened in March 2013. It contains more than 225 outlets, including food courts, restaurants, family entertainment zones, a multiplex, ice skating rink, gaming arena, Beauty parlours, a toy train joy ride and bowling alley. Multiple events are usually conducted in the main atrium. The estimated cost for this project is more than ₹16 billion or US$250 million. The property is owned and managed by Yusuff Ali M.A. Chairman and Managing Director of Lulu Group International. LuLu Mall in Kochi was their maiden retail venture in India.
Marietta Street Artery is an officially defined neighborhood of the city of Atlanta, Georgia, part of the West Midtown area of Atlanta, also known as the "Westside."
State Square was the central square of antebellum Atlanta, Georgia. The original Atlanta Union Depot designed by Edward A. Vincent stood in the middle of the square. The square was bounded by Marietta Street on the northeast, Pryor Street on the northwest, Loyd Street on the southeast, and Alabama Street on the south. The square was surrounded by Atlanta's most important buildings including the hotels Atlanta, Trout House, and Washington Hall, the Atlanta Bank, retail stores, and warehouses.
The Centennial Park District, formerly the Luckie-Marietta District, is a district of Downtown Atlanta named after the walkable neighborhood and entertainment district that surround Centennial Olympic Park. The district was originally created in 2007 by Legacy Properties, in support of their redevelopment projects in the district. However, "Luckie Marietta" was used by a wide range of Atlanta media to refer to the district. The district was rebranded the Centennial Park District and is now under the management of Central Atlanta Progress.
Ice skating is popular in North India in places like Ladakh, Kashmir and Shimla where cold weather occurs and it is possible to skate outdoors. Much of India has a tropical climate, hence in the rest of the country, ice skating is limited to the few artificial rinks available. An ice skating festival is organised in Shimla every year.
The Strand Theatre is a multi-use performing arts and film center in Marietta, Georgia, United States. Originally built in 1935 by the Manning-Winks Theatre Company as an art deco movie palace, it is currently the home of the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre, a nonprofit arts organization specializing in live theatre, classic movies, concerts, comedy, and other special events.
The Peachtree Arcade was a shopping arcade in Downtown Atlanta which stood from 1917 to 1964 on the site of what is now the State of Georgia Building on Peachtree Street just south of Marietta Street. The architect was A. Ten Eyck Brown and the developer was R.R. Otis of the real estate firm Otis & Holliday. It featured Beaux-Arts style façades that opened onto both Peachtree and Broad streets. Inside, the building had marble and brass finish, three levels of shop corridors and an iron and glass ceiling.
The Hotel Ansley was a hotel that occupied the south side of Williams Street between Forsyth and Fairlie streets in the Fairlie-Poplar district of Downtown Atlanta. It was built in 1913 by Jerome B. Pound of Chattanooga, TN and named for Edwin P. Ansley, developer of the Ansley Park neighborhood; an estimated 5000 guests attended the opening of the $1,000,000 property. The property was originally managed by M.I. and Frank Harrell.
The Metropolitan is a condominium building at 20 Marietta Street NW at the southeast corner of Broad Street in the Five Points district of Downtown Atlanta. It was built in 1911 as the Third National Bank Building. It was later the Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan Building, and in the 1960s was resurfaced with dark glass. It was converted into condominiums in 1996.
Crossroads Shopping Center, better known by its name in its heyday, Stewart-Lakewood Center, is an open-air shopping center on Metropolitan Parkway at Langford Parkway in the Sylvan Hills neighborhood of southern Atlanta. It was built in 1962 by the same company and in the same style as Ansley Mall near Midtown Atlanta. It was considered a major regional retail center.
Laurel Plaza was a regional shopping mall in North Hollywood, Los Angeles opened in 1968 and sold in 2014. Upon opening it was 600,000 square feet. May Company California was the department store anchor and it had 30 specialty and high fashion shops, an ice skating rink, restaurants, snack facilities and a central mall. Prior to the opening of the Laurel Plaza mall, May Co. marketed itself as part of Valley Plaza, a catch-all name for diverse shopping areas along Laurel Canyon and Victory boulevards.
Promenade on the Peninsula is the current name of originally enclosed, now open-air regional shopping mall in Rolling Hills Estates on the affluent Palos Verdes Peninsula in the South Bay area of Greater Los Angeles. Former names include The Courtyard, Shops at Palos Verdes and Avenue of the Peninsula.
