Marijn Lybaert is a Belgian professional Magic: The Gathering player. With four Pro Tour top eight finishes and over 200 lifetime Pro Points, he has been one of the most successful Belgians on Tour.

Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a country in Western Europe. <i>Magic: The Gathering</i> Collectible card game

Magic: The Gathering is both a collectible and digital collectible card game created by Richard Garfield. Released in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast, Magic was the first trading card game and has approximately twenty million players as of 2015, and over twenty billion Magic cards produced in the period from 2008 to 2016 alone.

The Pro Tour is the second-highest form of competitive play for the Magic: The Gathering collectible card game. It consists of a series of tournaments held throughout the world, each requiring an invitation to participate. Every Pro Tour awards a total of $240,000 in cash prizes, with $50,000 going to the winner. Pro Tour competitors also receive Pro Points, the amount depending on their results. Pro Points award special benefits to players, including automatic qualification and travel awards for subsequent Pro Tours. Currently, four Pro Tours are held during a twelve-month season also known colloquially as a year.

Kai Budde, is a semi-retired professional Magic: The Gathering player, who holds the record for Pro Tour victories, and for a long time held the records for earnings and lifetime Pro Points. His performances earned him the nicknames "The (German) Juggernaut" and "King of the Grand Prix". Olivier Ruel is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players. He holds the record for most Grand Prix Top 8’s, and is one of twenty players with five or more Pro Tour top 8’s. After Pro Tour San Juan 2010, Olivier surpassed Kai Budde as the leader in lifetime Pro Points. However, Budde regained that title later that season.

Dirk Baberowski is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players. He has won three Pro Tours, tying him in second place with Jon Finkel. Two of those victories were won at team Pro Tours with his teammates of Phoenix Foundation, Kai Budde and Marco Blume.

Shuhei Nakamura Japanese Magic: The Gathering player

Shuhei Nakamura is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players. He has reached the Top 8 of six Pro Tours and won seven Grands Prix, as well as being the 2008 Pro Player of the Year. In 2011, he was inducted into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame.

Jelger Wiegersma is a Dutch Magic: The Gathering player. Though no longer a professional player, he still regularly attends Pro Tours. He won Pro Tour Seattle 2004 as a member of team Von Dutch with teammates Jeroen Remie and Kamiel Cornelissen. He also won two Grand Prix, in 2003 and 2008. In 2008, he was elected to the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame.

Ben Rubin is an American Magic: The Gathering player. Rubin played his first Pro Tour in Los Angeles at the age of 15, making it to the finals of the tournament, where he lost to David Price. He is the only player who has won two Masters tournaments. Ben Rubin also made the Top 8 of four Pro Tours and six Grand Prixs, winning two of the Grand Prix. In 2008 he was inducted into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. Despite having not attended many Pro Tours for several years, in 2015 Rubin returned to the game by playing at Pro Tour Dragons of Tarkir.

Frank Karsten (Magic: The Gathering player) Dutch Magic: The Gathering player

Frank Karsten is a Dutch Magic: The Gathering player. His achievements include three Pro Tour Top 8 appearances, including a second-place finish at the 2005 World Championships, and seven Grand Prix Top 8s. He is a member of the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. Karsten is considered one of the game's foremost analytical minds and writers. He has since been considered mostly retired from Magic Pro Play, and has become a writer for Wizards' Magic event coverage.

Anton Jonsson is a Swedish Magic: The Gathering player. He has retired from professional Magic. At the height of his career, Jonsson was considered one of the best players in the game, and was especially known for his proficiency at Limited, having reached the Top 8 of a Pro Tour five times. In 2010, Jonsson came back to play in Grand Prix Gothenburg, where he reached yet another Top 8, five years after his last Top 8 appearance. He was voted into the Magic The Gathering Pro Tour Hall of Fame in 2011 along with Steve O'Mahoney-Schwartz and Shuhei Nakamura.

Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa is a Brazilian Magic: The Gathering player. In 2011, Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa became the youngest player to ever reach 300 lifetime Pro Points. He was elected into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame in 2012 as the first player from South America, and has twelve Pro Tour Top 8 finishes, which puts him second for the most Pro Tour Top 8s of all time.

Martin Jůza is a Czech Magic: The Gathering player. Over the course of his career, Jůza has won the Czech national championship, made the top eight of a Pro Tour three times, and won four Grand Prix tournaments.

Patrick Chapin is an American Magic: The Gathering player. Also known for his writing, and deck-design, Chapin has made five Pro Tour top eights, spanning three decades, and four Grand Prix top eights. In 2012, Chapin was voted into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. His induction took place during Pro Tour Return to Ravnica in October 2012.

Josh Utter-Leyton is an American Magic: The Gathering player. Perhaps most well known for his work with Team ChannelFireball, he was the American national champion in 2010 and 2013, and the Player of the Year for the 2012–13 season. He has reached the top 8 of six Pro Tours, losing to the eventual champion each time.

Gaudenis Vidugiris is a professional Magic: The Gathering player. His career highlights include three Grand Prix wins, and a second-place finish at Pro Tour Avacyn Restored in 2012. Though a resident of New York, Vidugiris has played for the Lithuanian national team a number of times.

Kuo Tzu-Ching (郭子敬) is a professional Magic: The Gathering player. Kuo is considered to be one of the best players in the Asia Pacific Region.

Tom Martell is an American Magic: The Gathering player. He won Pro Tour Gatecrash in 2013. His other notable finishes include another Pro Tour top 8 at Pro Tour Paris 2011, as well as three Grand Prix wins.

Craig Douglas Wescoe is an American Magic: The Gathering player. He won Pro Tour Dragon's Maze in 2013. He has two additional Pro Tour top 8 finishes to his name, and is well known as a champion of the "White Weenie" strategy, having played an aggressive white deck at all the Pro Tours where he made the top 8.
