History
MLM was created by Shelley and Dave Champine, in June 2008.
Shelley has been producing, managing, and promoting live entertainment for more than 20 years. Her degree in theatre with emphasis in stage management and direction formed the foundation of her career. Upon moving to San Francisco, she joined Beach Blanket Babylon and worked in numerous production roles for 10 years. For several years with two kids, she took side projects in corporate event planning and theatrical production. With kids came a move to the suburbs, but she remained enthusiastic about going outside and dance. After continuous frustration scouring newspapers and trying to convince her friends that there was nightlife in Marin, she decided to apply her considerable organizational skills to this problem. With the encouragement of numerous musicians and venues, Shelley started La Vida Local Events to promote live events.
While Dave also has a degree in Theatre, his career is in technology. He has been designing, building, maintaining and marketing networks and software for nearly 20 years. His experience includes building the e-mail network for Charles Schwab and directing software product development for systems used by millions of users worldwide. Dave also founded his own company and has been general manager for multiple software product lines.

Its county seat and largest city is San Rafael. Marin County is across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, and is included in the San Francisco–Oakland–Berkeley, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Carson Jones Daly is an American television host, radio personality, producer, and television personality. Prior to 2003, Daly was a VJ on MTV's Total Request Live (TRL), and a DJ for the Southern California-based radio station 106.7 KROQ-FM. In 2002, Daly joined NBC, where he began hosting and producing the late night talk show Last Call with Carson Daly, and occasionally hosting special event programming for NBC, such as the Macy's Fourth of July fireworks show, and executive producing New Year's Eve with Carson Daly from Times Square beginning in 2003.

Delilah Rene is an American radio personality, author, and songwriter, best known as the host of a nationally syndicated nightly U.S. radio song request and dedication program, with an estimated 8 million listeners. She first aired in the Seattle market as Delilah Rene, though she is now known simply as Delilah.
KCRW is a National Public Radio member station broadcasting from the campus of Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, where the station is licensed. KCRW airs original news and music programming in addition to programming from NPR and other affiliates. A network of repeaters and broadcast translators, as well as internet radio, allows the station to serve the Greater Los Angeles area and other communities in Southern California. KGB-FM is a commercial radio station licensed to San Diego, California. It is owned and operated by iHeartMedia and broadcasts a classic rock music format. KGB-FM's studios are located in San Diego's Kearny Mesa neighborhood on the northeast side, and the transmitter is located in East San Diego east of Balboa Park.
Nick Rocks: Video to Go, usually shortened to Nick Rocks, was a music video television series that aired on American cable channel Nickelodeon from 1984 to 1989. It featured pop and rock music videos over a 30-minute timeframe, presented in a countdown format. The show was typically hosted by a man identified on-air as "Joe from Chicago". Most episodes feature Joe traveling to various locations to hear viewers request specific music videos. Several guest hosts were featured over the program's run, such as The Monkees and They Might Be Giants.
KDPS is a radio station in Des Moines, Iowa. The station is owned by Des Moines Public Schools. The school district programs the station with a variety of rock music styles and staffs it with high school students who are learning radio.

Radio Sausalito is a "Part 15" AM radio station broadcasting a Big Band Jazz format on 1610 & 1710 kHz. The station is noncommercial and serves the Southern Marin County, California area. The station has partnerships with the local paper, the local library, and local businesses which host its programs. Its programming is also made available online via podcasts. The station has an agreement with the city of Sausalito to provide information to residents in the event of an emergency. In 2009 the station was selected as the audio accompaniment to the community calendar on Marin TV cable channels 26, 27, and 30. For several years Radio Sausalito was broadcasting on 1710 AM in Central San Rafael so as to broadcast the first and last games of the San Rafael Pacifics baseball team. In 2015 the station began broadcasting online and boasts a worldwide audience of over 10,000 per month.
Rain Perry is an American folk-rock singer/songwriter. Her song "Beautiful Tree" was the theme song for the CW Network series Life Unexpected. "Yosemite," her celebration of the pains of growing up, won the Grand Prize in the 2000 John Lennon Songwriting Contest and has been recorded by Tom Russell and Nanci Griffith. She is the author of autobiographical one-woman, multi-media show Cinderblock Bookshelves and the director of the documentary The Shopkeeper, about the state of the music business as told through the story of Austin music producer Mark Hallman. She is currently working on a theatrical companion piece to her latest record, A White Album, with a workshop production directed by Kim Maxwell scheduled for Fall 2022.

The Pacific Media Network is a New Zealand radio network and pan-Pasifika national broadcasting network, currently owned and operated by the National Pacific Radio Trust and partly funded by the Government. It includes the PMN 531 radio network, PMN News and Auckland-only broadcast station PMN NIU combined are accessible to an estimated 92 percent of the country's Pacific population. The network targets both first-generation Pacific migrants and New Zealand-born people with Pacific heritage. As of 2009, it was the only specifically pan-Pacific broadcaster in New Zealand.
