Maritza Medina (born in Illinois, June 12, 1967) is a Puerto Rican actress, [1] [2] model, doula and radio host. [3] She was raised in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.
Maritza's career began in 1989, acting some characters on Telemundo Fantasy, 'La Pension de Doña Tere [4] ", "A Toda Maquina". [5] [6] "Musicomedia", "Show de las 12" among others. After the birth of her twins, she started on the TV program "Anda Pal 'Cara!" on Univision" and "Desde mi Pueblo on WIPR (Channel 6 on Puerto Rico)
After pausing in her career, she devoted herself to raising their three daughters. [7]
Medina used for quiet time as a main stage the Hospital Hima San Pablo with EGO'S group. She still educating women on TV about breastfeeding, appearing weekly on the TV program 'Dia a Dia' (Day by Day) on Telemundo, also a weekly section on the Puerto Ricans' newspaper El Vocero. [8] Maritza is currently the host of a radio program "In God's Time" (Al Tiempo de Dios) on 90.5 fm (Cadena Radio Vida) [9] [10] and as a collaborator on Dia Dia by Telemundo. Starting in 2014 was part of the play "Learned Behavior" (Conducta aprendida) presented in all theaters in Puerto Rico. 2016 she also began a weekly program "Buena Tarde" in Univision. [11]

SuperXclusivo was a Puerto Rican gossip show broadcast on TeleOnce (WLII-DT). The show, originally premiered on WAPA-TV as SuperXclusivo on January 24, 2000. It was hosted by puppet gossiper La Comay — The Gossiper, created, voiced and puppeteered by Antulio "Kobbo" Santarrosa. La Comay was joined by a co-host and sidekick, which has been filled by Héctor Travieso, Roque Gallart and, Yan Ruiz. La Comay, the character, presents celebrity and political gossip, as well as news and social commentary on local issues. Through its original run, SuperXclusivo maintained the top position in local ratings. The show ended its original run on WAPA-TV on January 9, 2013, after Kobbo Santarrosa resigned from the network amid boycotts against him for homophobic allegations he made on air through the puppeteering of La Comay. On December 19, 2018, it was confirmed that La Comay would be returning to television to Mega TV after years of speculation. The new show, titled after the puppet gossiper, premiered on January 28, 2019 and ended on December 18, 2020, after Santarrosa decided not to renew the show's contract with the network. This resulted the show to move to TeleOnce on March 1, 2021, with comedian Yan Ruiz as the new co-host.
Atención Atención is a Puerto Rican live-action/puppet children's television show and band formed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1999 starring three costumed characters and their friends, the Atención Atención band. Atención Atención explores a specific theme in each episode, e.g. "Colors", "Friends" and "Means of transportation" through songs and short storylines in the half-hour program. Additionally, the show teaches children life and social skills, such as sharing and travels around the world with Vera, the traveling flea. It also encourages viewers to move along with and dance with the characters in the program. It all started in 1999 giving music workshops to kindergarten teachers in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic and with Víctor Rivera's vision of a live action TV show that was a cross between Sesame Street and MTV, the band filmed their first DVD in 2006.
