Mark Demling is a retired American soccer defender who currently coaches high school soccer. Demling spent seven seasons in the North American Soccer League and one in Major Indoor Soccer League.
Demling grew up in St. Louis, Missouri beginning to play soccer when he was seven at St. Thomas More parish in the C.Y.C. league. He played Junior soccer for St. Philip Neri winning the National Junior Cup title in the 1968–69 season. He attended St. Louis University High School, graduating in 1970. He then entered Saint Louis University where he played on the men's soccer team from 1970 to 1973. He immediately made an impact on the team, becoming a starter his freshman season. That year, the Billikens won the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. St. Louis U would lose in the NCAA final in 1971. The team repeated as champions in 1972 and 1973, the last season with Demling as team captain. The Billikens have named an annual award after Demling, given to the soccer player who gives his most to the team. St. Louis University inducted Demling into its Hall of Fame in 1999.
In 1973, the expansion San Jose Earthquakes of the North American Soccer League (NASL) selected Demling with its first draft pick. He played from 1974 to 1978 with the Earthquakes. However, he lost the entire 1975 season due to a broken leg suffered in the 1975 NASL Indoor Final. In 1978, the Earthquakes traded Demling to the San Diego Sockers after only two games. While he then played twelve games with the Sockers through the remainder of the 1978 season, he saw time in only one game in 1979. In 1980, he was back in San Jose where he played a single game with the Earthquakes. In 1980, he left the NASL and signed with the San Francisco Fog of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). The Fog lasted only one season before moving to Kansas City to become the Kansas City Comets.
After retiring from the Fog, Demling entered the apparel industry. He has sold soccer shoes and clothing for Nike and Patrick sportswear. He has also managed a shoe distribution center in Hayward, California.
Demling has also served as a radio and television soccer broadcaster. In 1996, he was hired to provide TV commentary for the San Jose Clash.
In 1999, Demling coached eighth-grade soccer at Blach Junior High School in Los Altos, California, taking the team to the Valley Junior High School Athletic League championship. On May 9, 2000, St. Francis High School hired Demling as its boys' soccer coach.
The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), known in its final two seasons as the Major Soccer League, was an indoor soccer league in the United States that played matches from fall 1978 to spring 1992.
Brian Quinn is a Northern Irish-American soccer coach and former player who is the head coach of the San Diego Toreros men's soccer team at the University of San Diego (USD). He spent most of his professional career in North America where he played in the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League. He later coached in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and Major League Soccer.
Bob Rigby is an American retired soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. He played twelve seasons in the North American Soccer League, three in the Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the Western Soccer Alliance and earned six caps with the United States men's national soccer team. Rigby was the color commentator with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.

Patrick "Pat" McBride is an American retired soccer midfielder and indoor soccer coach. He earned five caps with the U.S. national team and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Alan Mayer is an American retired soccer goalkeeper. He played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League and earned six caps with the United States men's national soccer team.
Alan Trost is an American former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. He played collegiate soccer at Saint Louis University where he won the 1969 and 1970 Hermann Trophy as the player of the year. His professional career includes years in both the North American Soccer League (NASL) and Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). He also was a member of the 1972 U.S. Olympic soccer team. He went on to earn 14 caps with the U.S. national team, scoring one goal. He coached professionally with the St. Louis Steamers of MISL and continues to coach youth soccer. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Gary Etherington is a retired soccer player who began his professional career in the North American Soccer League before moving to the Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned seven caps with the U.S. national team. Since retiring, Etherington has coached youth soccer and is a soccer equipment salesman.
Jimmy McAlister is a U.S. soccer defender during the 1970s and 1980s. He was the 1977 NASL Rookie of the Year and earned six caps with the U.S. national team.

Manuel "Mani" Hernandez is a Spanish-American former soccer forward. He played collegiate soccer at San Jose State University where he won the 1968 Hermann Trophy as the collegiate player of the year. He later spent three seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes of the North American Soccer League. He currently coaches high school girls soccer at Presentation High School.
William “Ty” Keough is an American former professional soccer player and coach who has served as a soccer broadcaster for several networks. He earned eight caps with the U.S. national team in 1979 and 1980. He was a member of the U.S. Olympic soccer team which qualified for the 1980 Summer Olympics. However, he did not attend the tournament as the U.S. boycotted those games.
Arthur "Art" or "Buzz" Demling is a former U.S. soccer defender who played in the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League. He was a member of the U.S. soccer team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. He also earned four caps with the U.S. national team between 1973 and 1975.
