Mark Olive (born 1962), also known as the Black Olive, [1] is an Aboriginal Australian chef.

Olive was born in Wollongong in 1962 and is a Bundjalung man. [2] Olive had a cooking segment on the ABC's Message Stick TV series [3] and later got his own TV cooking series, The Outback Cafe. He has released a cookbook, The Outback Cafe, based on the series. [4] [1] In 2006 he won a Deadly Award for Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment. [5] Mark Olive hosts Australian reality competitive cooking show The Chefs' Line with chef Dan Hong and food writer Melissa Leong.

The Chefs' Line is an Australian reality competitive cooking show. The series features four home cooks in each episode who compete against professional chefs in a studio kitchen. The challenge is to create their personal versions of a chosen dish from the week's featured cuisine. Dishes are then blind-tasted and judged by executive chef Dan Hong, food writer Melissa Leong, and chef Mark Olive. The contestants are eliminated until the week's winner is chosen. On the fifth night, Maeve O’Meara goes into the kitchen of the week's featured restaurant to uncover their culinary secrets.

The Yugambeh–Bandjalangic peoples' are an Aboriginal Australian ethnolinguistic group identified by their use of one of more of the Yugambeh–Bundjalung languages and shared cultural practices and histories. There are roughly 15 individual groups, who together form a wider cultural bloc or polity often described as Bundjalung or "Three Brothers Mob".
