Mark Schofield (born 31 March 1974) is a British former professional tennis player.

A native of Blackburn, Schofield was an eight-time Lancashire singles champion and played one year on tour as a professional player. He featured in the doubles main draw at Queen's in 1991 and in qualifying at Wimbledon in 1992. [1]

Schofield left the international circuit in 1993 to concentrate on coaching. [2]

The Lancashire League is a competitive league of local cricket clubs drawn from the small to middle-sized mill towns, mainly but not exclusively, of East Lancashire. Its real importance is probably due to its history of employing professional players of international standing to play in the League. Alan Ronald Mills was an English tennis player and tournament referee for the Wimbledon tennis championships from 1983 to 2005. Although each individual tennis match was controlled by an on-court umpire, Alan Mills ran the entire tournament.
