Mark Tattersall

Mark Tattersall (born 31 December 1984, Preston) is a journalist, and former news reporter for ITV program Granada Reports.

Tattersall grew up in Preston and attended Hutton Grammar School and University of Central Lancashire. He was a reporter for ITV news program Granada Reports and ITV News. He left in 2012.

He has been the executive producer at Artlab Films, based in London and Preston. [1]

From 1993 to 2002, when LWT's weekday counterpart was Carlton Television, the transfer usually occurred invisibly during a commercial break, for Carlton and LWT shared studio and transmission facilities.

He was sentenced to five years in prison following his initial convictions. He was sentenced to a further four years in June 2017 following conviction for further indecent assaults committed in Scotland. He was released on licence in December 2019.

Granada Reports is the evening news programme produced by ITV Granada and broadcasting to North West England and the Isle of Man. It broadcasts for thirty minutes each Monday to Friday from 18:00, covering regional news stories, features, sport and weather. It is presented by Lucy Meacock and Gamal Fahnbulleh. Shorter bulletins air in Good Morning Britain, on weekday lunchtimes, after News At Ten and at weekends.
