Wen-Pin Hope Lee is a Hoklo Taiwanese contemporary music composer and Professor. His works comprise a variety of genres, including symphonies, theatre, dance, solo works, chamber music, computer music, and multimedia performance art. In 2004 he began his Taiwan Series of compositions: a body of work inspired by Taiwanese culture, including Indigenous peoples and Hakka melodies, sung texts in Taiwanese, and the ambient sounds of Taiwan locales. Lee is the winner of the 2006 Golden Melody Award for Best Composer of Traditional and Artistic Music and a nominee for the 2007 Golden Melody Award for his recording of his five-act theatre dance piece Hsiahai City God through Water of Mengjia. In 2013, Lee won an award for his collaborative work with Radio Taiwan International on “Happiness on March” at 48th Golden Bell Awards.
Hans-Joachim Hessler is a German composer, musician and musicologist. Today, he lives in Duisburg and Diemelsee. As a contemporary composer, he attributes his work in writing and composition to the epoch of musical postmodernism.
Henry Vega is a composer and Electroacoustic musician from New York City, currently living in The Hague, Netherlands. He founded The Spycollective in 2006, a now defunct music, theater and dance group, and is a founding director of Artek Foundation. Vega has been composing and performing internationally since 2001 and is also a founding member of The Electronic Hammer trio with Diego Espinosa and Juan Parra Cancino. He is married to Polish composer Kasia Glowicka.
The Editta Braun Company is a dance company founded in Salzburg, Austria in 1989 by the Austrian choreographer, dancer and dance instructor Editta Braun. Members of the multi-national team include dancers, composers, dramatic advisors and light designers. The Editta Braun Company’s work pursues political themes, including intercultural communication and feminist questions. The company is particularly known for the body theatre performance pieces Lufus, Luvos, vol. 2, planet LUVOS, Close Up, Close Up 2.0 and Fanghoumé. The Editta Braun Company has toured in Europe, Asia, Africa and performs at both large and specialty festivals.

Martin Dvořák was born in Brno in 1979. He received his professional dance education at the Dance Conservatory in Brno, from which he graduated in 1997. Nele HertlingnéeSchröder is a German theatre manager and promoter of innovative culture. Working for the Academy of Arts, Berlin, from 1962, she has founded regular programs of innovative art in the city, such as Pantomime-Musik-Tanz-Theater in 1970 and the Tanz im August festival in 1988. She managed the program for Berlin as the European City of Culture that year. Hertling is considered the grande dame of the established German Freies Theater.
