Mark Steven Ward (born 27 January 1982) [1] is an English former footballer who played as a forward for Sheffield United. [2]
Ward began his career with Sheffield United, where he made two appearances in the Football League Championship before being released. [3] He went on to play for non-League teams Worksop Town, Hucknall Town, Frickley Athletic, Stocksbridge Park Steels and Belper Town. [4]
Christopher Roland Waddle is an English former professional football player and manager. He had a spell as Burnley manager during the 1997–98 season, but has not returned to coaching since. Largely since retiring he has worked in the media for BBC Radio 5 Live as part of their Premier League and Champions League team. He currently works as a commentator.
Stocksbridge is a town and civil parish, in the City of Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies just to the east of the Peak District. Stocksbridge Park Steels Football Club is an English association football club based in Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire. They currently compete in the Northern Premier League Division One East. The club was formed in 1986 after a merger between two clubs, and uses a yellow and blue home kit. They play at the Bracken Moor ground. England international Jamie Vardy and Republic of Ireland international Scott Hogan have played for the team.
