Markem-Imaje is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialized traceability, variable data and product identification equipment, for customers in the packaging industry. The company is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Markem-Imaje is a wholly owned subsidiary of Illinois-based Dover Corporation.
Markem-Imaje was formed in 2007 from the merger of New-Hampshire-based Markem Corporation and the French company Imaje S.A., companies within Dover Corporation's Dover Engineered Systems. [1] Started in 1911 in Keene, New Hampshire, Markem Corporation established itself as a designer and distributor of hardware, software and services for product identification. The company was named one of New Hampshire's Best Companies to Work For each year between 2003 and 2005. [2] Markem Corporation was acquired by Dover Corporation in 2006.
Founded in 1982 by industrialist Jean-Claude Millet, Imaje S.A. developed continuous inkjet technology, a printing method in which the printer makes no physical contact with the item being marked. Imaje S.A. was acquired by Dover Corporation in 1995. [3] The combined Markem-Imaje claims to be the world's largest provider of product identification solutions. [4]

4510# Alarm Markem Imaje 9450 Printer ink quantity is too low. 4040# Fault Markem Imaje 9450 Printer ink is used up, please replace the new Markem Imaje ink. 4500# Alarm added dose is too low. 4050# Fault additive is used up, please replace with a new additive. 2020# & 2070# Fault Ink spot detection failure. 1. Refer to the cleaning Markem Imaje nozzle program to clean the Markem Imaje 9450 nozzle: (1) If MB139 / MB554 Markem Imaje ink is used, please use a brush dipped in special Markem Imaje cleaning agent 5909 scrub nozzle. (2) If using MW420 and other pigment inks, please use a brush to wash. 2. Observe the shape and position of power failure: (1) The power off position is in the middle of the charging pole; (2) The power supply shape is small on the top and large in the below just like the water drop shape; (3) No satellite points. 3. If the shape and position of the breakpoint are wrong, please adjust the breakpoint, press "Nozzle maintenance", and then press "breakpoint adjustment", the breakpoint will be automatically adjusted, and the adjustment time will be about 13 minutes. 2030# Fault High voltage fault: 1. Check whether the Markem Imaje nozzle is clean, otherwise refer to the cleaning nozzle program to clean the nozzle. (1) If MB139 / MB554 Markem Imaje ink is used, please use a brush dipped in special Markem Imaje cleaning agent 5909 scrub nozzle; (2) If using MW420 and other pigment inks, please use a brush to wash. 2050# Fault Markem Imaje cover does not close fault: 1. Check whether the nozzle cover is closed; 2. If the nozzle cover is closed and the fault is still reported, enter the menu: "Service" → "Maintenance" → "Fault detection shielding"; 3. Click the "inverted triangle" button on the right of "Nozzle cover Fault", change the allow to prohibit and confirm. 2060# Fault recovery fault: 1. After opening the Markem Imaje 9450 ink line, please immediately observe whether there is ink from the nozzle or whether the ink line is in the middle of the recovery tank; 2. If there is no ink line or the ink line is not in the middle of the recovery tank, do "open the nozzle" and "solvent suction" until the ink line is stable into the recovery tank; 3. If the Markem Imaje 9450 ink line is positive but not recovered, check whether the recovery tank is blocked; 4. Enter the "Service" → "maintenance" → "ink pipeline", and test whether the 9# recovery Markem Imaje valve is normal.
