Schiffner made his international debut in a FIS race in Hinterzarten on 23 February 2008. His first World Cup competition was 4 January 2014 in Innsbruck, Austria, where he finished as number 46. He received his first World Cup points in Engelberg in 2015, and his best individual result is an 11th place in Bischofshofen in 2017. [1]

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation, also known as FIS, is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. It was previously known as the International Ski Federation until 26 May 2022 when the name was changed to include snowboard.

He won his first international championship medal at the 1982 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo with a silver medal in the team large hill event.

Markus Prock is an Austrian luger who competed between 1983 and 2002. Born in Innsbruck, Prock competed in six Winter Olympics winning three medals in the men's singles event with two silvers and one bronze (2002).
Josef "Sepp" Schiffner was an Austrian and German Nordic skier who competed in the 1950s. He was born in Altaussee. Competing in the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of 11th in the Nordic combined event at Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956. Schiffner also finished 69th in the 18 km cross-country skiing event at Oslo in 1952. After the 1956 Olympic Winter Games he competed for West Germany and won the Nordic combined event at Le Brassus [Swiss] on 15 January 1957.
Markus Eggenhofer is an Austrian ski jumper. Eggenhofer was promoted from the Austrian "B" team to the World Cup roster ahead of the 2008–09 season, after winning the FIS Cup the season before. He made his World Cup debut in Kuusamo, Finland on 29 November 2008, where he finished in 25th place. His best individual result to date is the 8th-place finish in Engelberg, Switzerland on 20 December 2008.
Marcel Hirscher is an Austrian-born Dutch World Cup alpine ski racer. Hirscher made his World Cup debut in March 2007. He competed primarily in slalom and giant slalom, as well as combined and occasionally in super G. Winner of a record eight consecutive World Cup titles, Hirscher has also won 11 medals at the Alpine Skiing World Championships, seven of them gold, a silver medal in slalom at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and two gold medals in the combined and giant slalom at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Due to his record number of overall titles and many years of extreme dominance of both slalom and giant slalom, he is considered by many, including his former rivals Henrik Kristoffersen, Kjetil Jansrud and Alexis Pinturault, to be the best alpine skier in history. He won a total of 67 World Cup races, ranking second on the male all-time list.

He is one of the most successful ski jumpers of all time, having won the Ski Jumping World Cup and Ski Flying World Cup overall titles three times each, the Four Hills Tournament once and Raw Air Tournament three times, and three individual gold medals at the World Championships. Since March 2017, he has held the ski flying world record of 253.5 metres (832 ft).
Karl Geiger is a German ski jumper who has competed at World Cup level since 2012. He won gold medals in both the team and mixed team competitions at the 2021 Nordic World Ski Championships and an individual gold medal at the 2021 Ski Flying World Championships. Johannes Strolz is an Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer. He won the gold medal in the combined at the 2022 Olympics. He specializes in the technical events of slalom and giant slalom. He is the son of Hubert Strolz, the gold medalist in Combined at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He and his father became the first father-son duo to win gold in Alpine skiing at the Olympics.
