Trinity Western University (TWU) is a private Christian liberal arts university with campuses in both Langley and Richmond, British Columbia. The school is a member of Universities Canada.
The Orion is the student newspaper of California State University, Chico and produces 32 issues every year, 16 each semester. Its offices are in the basement of Plumas Hall on the Chico State campus. It has won numerous state and national awards, including several National Pacemakers. Its name is taken from the constellation Orion, as the newspaper is meant to be a "hunter of truth."
The National Pacemaker Awards are awards for excellence in American student journalism, given annually since 1927. The awards are generally considered to be the highest national honors in their field, and are unofficially known as the "Pulitzer Prizes of student journalism".
The Daily Iowan is an independent, 6,500-circulation student newspaper serving Iowa City and the University of Iowa community. During the 2020–2021 academic year The Daily Iowan transitioned from printing daily to producing a print edition of the paper twice a week and publishing stories online daily. It has consistently won a number of collegiate journalism awards, including six National Pacemaker Awards in 2000, 2001, 2006, 2008, 2013, and 2020. The Daily Iowan was named Newspaper of the Year by the Iowa Newspaper Association four times, including in 2020 and 2021.
The Battalion is the student newspaper of Texas A&M University. Started in 1893 as a monthly publication, it continues to this day, now as a weekly print and daily online paper. The Battalion is entirely student-run and covers the university and surrounding Bryan-College Station area.
The Daily Toreador, also known as The DT, is the student newspaper of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The newspaper was first published in 1925 as The Toreador and later changed its name to The University Daily before arriving at the current name in 2005. All content for The DT is produced by a staff around 40 members including editors, reporters and photographers. The DT has received numerous regional and national awards, including a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold crown award, two Columbia Scholastic Press Association Silver crown awards, and two Associated Collegiate Press Pacemaker Award finalists. As well, the paper counts five Pulitzer Prizes and four winners amongst its former staff members.

The Daily Tar Heel (DTH) is the independent student newspaper of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was founded on February 23, 1893, and became a daily newspaper in 1929. The paper places a focus on university news and sports, but it also includes heavy coverage of Orange County and North Carolina. In 2016, the paper moved from five days a week in print to four, cutting the Tuesday edition. In 2017, the paper began to print on only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In 2021, the paper began to print only on Wednesdays. All editorial content is overseen by student editors and a volunteer student staff of about 230 people. It's located at 109 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and it is the largest news organization in Orange County.
The GW Hatchet is the student newspaper of the George Washington University. Founded in 1904, The Hatchet is the second-oldest continuously running newspaper in Washington, D.C., only behind The Washington Post. The Hatchet is often ranked as one of the best college newspapers in the United States and has consistently won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and from the Associated Collegiate Press. Alumni of the GW Hatchet include numerous Pulitzer Prize winners, Emmy Award winners, politicians, news anchors, and editors of major publications.
The Collegiate Times is an independent, student-run newspaper serving Virginia Tech since 1903. The Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech (EMCVT), a non-profit student media consortium, owns the publication. Based in Blacksburg, Virginia, the Collegiate Times publishes local news, sports, features and opinions for 5,000 print readers every Tuesday of the academic year and prints its summer edition, Hello Hokies, annually. The Collegiate Times represents the only daily newspaper produced in Blacksburg and also provides its content online via its website, mobile app, and various social media outlets.

The University Daily Kansan is an editorially independent student newspaper serving the University of Kansas. It was founded in 1904. Its print distribution was only within the university's campus, as well as student apartment complexes throughout Lawrence. It was published weekly during the school year except fall break, spring break, exams and weekly during the summer session excluding holidays. Its circulation is about 12,000. The Kansan used to include a weekly lifestyle magazine named the Jayplay. The University Daily Kansan stopped publishing regular print editions in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and removed the paper's circulation boxes on campus.
The Temple News (TTN) is the editorially independent bi-weekly newspaper of Temple University. It prints 2,000 copies to be distributed primarily on Temple's Main Campus every other Tuesday. A staff of 36, supported by more than 150 writers, is responsible for designing, reporting and editing the bi-weekly paper. Increasingly, TTN is supplementing its bi-weekly print product with breaking news and online-only content on its web site.
The Spectrum is a student newspaper published in Buffalo, New York. It is a digital newspaper published weekly at the University at Buffalo. The Spectrum is financially independent and supports itself with online advertising. Any undergraduate at the school is eligible to register for the newspaper and its corresponding English courses, regardless of intended major.
The Nevada Sagebrush is the independent student newspaper of the University of Nevada, Reno. It was founded on October 19, 1893, as The Student Record, against the wishes of the Nevada Board of Regents. In 1910, the name was changed to The Sagebrush and then in 2004, to The Nevada Sagebrush. The newspaper currently releses a digital issue at the end of every month and employs about 10 Nevada students.

The Chronicle is a daily student newspaper at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. It was first published as The Trinity Chronicle on December 19, 1905. Its name was changed to The Chronicle when Trinity College was renamed Duke University following a donation by James Buchanan Duke.

The Breeze publishes local news during the academic year. It is made up of four sections: news, culture, sports and opinion. The Breeze is also known to many JMU alumni and current students for its long-standing tradition of publishing Darts & Pats.
