Sun Media Corporation was the owner of several tabloid and broadsheet newspapers in Canada and the 49% owner of the now defunct Sun News Network. It was a subsidiary of Quebecor Media.
Le Journal de Montréal is a daily French-language tabloid newspaper published in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It has the largest circulation of any newspaper in Quebec and is also the largest French-language daily newspaper in North America. Established by Pierre Péladeau in 1964, it is owned by Quebecor Media, and is hence a sister publication of TVA flagship CFTM-DT. It is also Canada's largest tabloid newspaper. Its head office is located on 4545 Frontenac Street in Montreal.
Montreal has a large and well-developed communications system, including several English and French language television stations, newspapers, radio stations, and magazines. It is Canada's second-largest media market, and the centre of francophone Canada's media industry.
Adams Publishing Group LLC(APG) is a company that provides publishing services, including newspapers, periodicals, and website publishing in the United States. Its corporate headquarters is located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Mark Adams, the son of Stephen Adams, founded Adams Publishing Group in late 2013. In March 2014, APG began to acquire newspapers and media related businesses. As of 2022, it owned more than 127 newspapers in 20 states and the District of Columbia.
The French language has been spoken in Minnesota since the 17th century, being the first European language to be brought to the area.
Le Courrier du pays de Retz is a French weekly regional information newspaper created in 1844 and distributed on Fridays in the Pays de Retz area, in the department of Loire-Atlantique.
