Sarnia is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and had a 2016 population of 71,594. It is the largest city on Lake Huron and in Lambton County. Sarnia is located on the eastern bank of the junction between the Upper and Lower Great Lakes where Lake Huron flows into the St. Clair River, which forms the Canada–United States border, directly across from Port Huron, Michigan. SCITS or Sarnia Collegiate Institute & Technical School is a public secondary school located in Sarnia, Ontario. Part of the Lambton Kent District School Board, it is one of Sarnia's educational institutions. It has approximately 550 full-time students (2015–2016) and is home to the Blue Bombers. In November 2015 the school was proposed to the board for closure in 2017.
