Marsaskala Sports Club is a waterpolo club from Marsaskala, Malta. The club was founded in 1927.
For sponsorship reasons, the club is currently known as Marsaskala Fish and Fish.
Up until 1972, there was a Marsascala Aquatic Sports Club which however was "dissolved due to internal conflicts". [1]

The music of Malta ranges across a spectrum of genres such as traditional folk music, metal and various forms of electronica.
Malta competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, USSR. Eight competitors, seven men and one woman, took part in five events in three sports.
Saint Thomas Tower, also known as Fort Saint Thomas, is a large bastioned watchtower in Marsaskala, Malta. It was built in 1614, the third of six Wignacourt towers. An artillery battery was added to the tower in the early 18th century. Saint Thomas Tower is the largest watchtower in Malta.
Local council elections were held for 23 localities in Malta on 11 March 2006. Traditionally, this round of elections has given positive results to the Nationalist Party, with the biggest villages apart from Żabbar, being the traditional villages in which the Nationalist Party obtains best results. Marsaskala, also written as Marsascala and abbreviated as M'Skala, is a seaside town in the South Eastern Region of Malta which has grown around the small harbour at the head of Marsaskala Bay, a long, narrow inlet also known as Marsaskala Creek. The bay is sheltered to the north by Ras iż-Żonqor, the southeast corner of Malta, and to the south by the headland of Ras il-Gżira. The parish church, built in 1953, is dedicated to Saint Anne and the feast is celebrated at the end of July in Marsaskala.

The 2003 Games of the Small States of Europe, or the Xth Games of the Small States of Europe, were held in Valletta, Malta from June 2 to June 7, 2003. Valletta previously hosted the games in 1993. Malta was not due to host the Games again until 2009, but a strong bid helped them to gain the games six years early. Administration of the games was done jointly by the Maltese Ministry of Education and the Malta Olympic Committee. The games were declared open by President Guido de Marco on June 2.

Briconet Redoubt, also known as Marsaskala Redoubt or the Vendôme Entrenchment, is a redoubt in Marsaskala, Malta. It was built in 1715 by the Order of Saint John as one of a series of coastal fortifications around the Maltese Islands. Until recently, the redoubt was used as a police station.
The Church of Our Lady of Liesse is a church in Valletta, Malta. The church was built in 1740 on the site of a 17th-century church. The cupola was built to the designs of the Maltese Architect Francesco Zammit. The church is located near the shores of the Grand Harbour, close to Lascaris Battery and the site of the fish market. It is especially venerated by the people of the port area.

The 2021–22 Maltese National Amateur League, was the third level league football in Malta. This is the second season since the unification of both the Second and Third Divisions into the three-group Amateur League system. Żurrieq won the title by beating fellow group winners Attard in the championship final. The second-placed promotion play-off saw Marsaskala defeat Għargħur by 2 goals to 1 with Għargħur facing Mtarfa in the promotion play-off final. Mtarfa won all four of their post-league stage games, in the process winning the play-off final against Għargħur to win promotion to the Challenge League.
The 2021–22 Maltese FA Trophy, officially named IZIBET FA Trophy due to sponsorship reasons, is the 84th edition of the football cup competition, the FA Trophy. The winners of the Maltese FA Trophy will earn a place in the first qualifying round of the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. The first round of games started on 7 December 2021.
