Marta Flich (born 1978 in Valencia) is a Spanish economist, comedian and TV host.

Biography

She was born in Valencia, but has lived most of her life in La Vall d'Uixó. When she was seven years old, she began to study piano and singing in the Conservatory of Music. She graduated in Economy by the University of Valencia and has a master in International Trade by the University of Delaware. She has worked in banking, a profession that she combined with her training in acting. [1] In addition to working as an actress, she has also worked as a television presenter. [2]

From 2016 she published a video blog in the Huffington Post where she explains the economic news in a simple and sarcastic way. [1] [3] [4]

Marta Xargay Casademont is a retired Spanish professional basketball player. She played for Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, and for several European teams in Czech Republic, Russia and Spain. She played for the Spain women's national basketball team from 2011 to 2020. She won EuroLeague Women 2010–11 with Perfumerías Avenida Baloncesto. She left Spain in 2015, joining both USK Praha of the Czech League in 2015 and the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA on 11 February 2015. In September 2018, she signed for Dynamo Kursk of the Russian Premier League and in January 2020, she returned to her youth club Uni Girona CB. After not playing in the 2020-21 season, she announced her retirement in July 2021.
