Marta Ribera is a Spanish theatrical actress star born in 1971. She is perhaps best known for her roles in the Frank Wildhorn musical Jekyll & Hyde (musical) in the starring role of Lucy Harris and her most recent role as The Lady of the Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot. She has also appeared as Sally Bowles in Cabaret (musical), amongst other roles.

She starred opposite singing star Raphael who played the title roles in Jekyll & Hyde. She originated the role in Madrid, [1] and went on the play the role in the national tour on and off for the next two years. She can be heard on the cast recording made for the Spanish production.

Spamalot in Spain began its run in September 2008, in Barcelona. She originated the starring role of Lady of the Lake, and can be heard on the cast album, which was released in December 2008.

Since August 2010 she stars as Velma Kelly in the Spanish production of Chicago.

Monty Python's Spamalot is a musical comedy adapted from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Like the motion picture, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend, but it differs from the film in many ways. The original 2005 Broadway production, directed by Mike Nichols, received 14 Tony Awards nominations, winning in three categories, including Best Musical. During its initial run of 1,575 performances, it was seen by more than two million people and grossed over $175 million. Tim Curry starred as King Arthur in the original Broadway and West End productions. It was one of eight UK musicals commemorated on Royal Mail stamps, issued in February 2011.

Jekyll & Hyde is a 1990 musical loosely based on the 1886 novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. Originally conceived for the stage by Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden, it features music by Frank Wildhorn, a book by Leslie Bricusse and lyrics by all of them. After a world premiere run in Houston, Texas, the musical embarked on a national tour of the United States prior to its Broadway debut in 1997. She veers close to opera but that’s a compliment in a production of this ambition. One of 2017’s best performances in the West End arriving late in the year.. Carolyn is also known for playing Grace Farrell in the 2019 tour of Annie the Musical and Molly Jensen in Ghost, opposite musician and actor Andy Moss as Sam, on the 2016 national tour.
