Martha Scanlan is an American singer-songwriter and musician, based in Montana.
Scanlan has appeared on The Bob Edwards Show , NPR’s What’s In A Song, [1] Mountain Stage, [2] Etown, [3] Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour, [4] and (as a member of the Reeltime Travelers) on T Bone Burnett’s soundtrack for the 2003 film, Cold Mountain.
Scanlan tours nationally and internationally and has released four solo albums and one collaborative project with Portland musician and producer Jon Neufeld.

The Down Hill Strugglers, previously known as the Dust Busters, is an American old-time string band trio from Brooklyn, New York, United States. Formed in 2008, the band has been influenced by the music that came out of rural America, including Appalachian traditions, music from the Deep South, and music from the Western States. The band was originally made up of Craig Judelman, Eli Smith, and Walker Shepard. In 2012, Craig Judelman left the Dust Busters and was replaced by multi-instrumentalist Jackson Lynch. At that time, the band changed its name to the Down Hill Strugglers.

Among the Oak & Ash is an American folk rock band founded in 2008 by songwriter, composer, and producer Josh Joplin. The group was rounded out by vocalist and guitarist Garrison Starr, producer and bassist Brian Harrison, and drummer Bryan Owings. They have released two albums two date, Among the Oak & Ash (2009) and Devil Ship (2013), featuring a variety of guest musicians. Harrison died in 2014.
