Martin Benn is the former chef and co-owner of Sepia, a fine dining restaurant located on Sussex Street, Sydney, Australia

Benn and Sepia have won multiple accolades over the years, including the Australian Gourmet Traveller Chef of the Year, [1] the Australian Financial Review Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year [2] and the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year. [3]

Benn was born in Hastings, England and trained under Michel Lorrain and Marco Pierre White. He migrated to Australia in 1996 and worked at Tetsuya's before he founded Sepia in 2009. [4]

Momofuku is a culinary brand established by chef David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar. It includes restaurants in New York City, Sydney, Toronto, Washington, DC, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, a bakery established by pastry chef Christina Tosi, a bar (Nikai), and a quarterly magazine. The restaurants are notable for their innovative take on cuisine while supporting local, sustainable and responsible farmers and food purveyors.

Peter Gilmore (chef) Australian chef (born 1968)

Peter Gilmore is an Australian chef. He is the current executive chef of the Quay restaurant, which has been included in The World's 50 Best Restaurants since 2009, and the Bennelong, at The Sydney Opera House. He is sometimes a guest on Masterchef Australia, where his signature dessert the "Snow Egg" was touted as one of the toughest Masterchef challenges. He is now the executive chef at Bennelong.

Shannon Bennett is an Australian chef and author. He is best known as the head chef of restaurant Vue de monde at Melbourne's Rialto Tower. Bennett currently serves as the creative director at the restaurant and its parent company Vue Groups, having previously been the executive chef. He has made many appearances as a guest judge on the popular cooking show MasterChef Australia.

Kumar Mahadevan Indian chef

Kumar Mahadevan is an Indian chef, restaurateur and media personality, based in Australia. He is often referred in Sydney's dining circles as the "Guru of Indian cuisine". He is recognised for introducing authentic Indian cuisine to the Australian public with his restaurant, Abhi's in 1990. Following the success of Abhi's he opened his second restaurant Aki's at Sydney's prestigious dining precinct 'The Finger Wharf Woolloomooloo'. Aki's carried the accolades for Chef Kumar, being the only Indian restaurant to win the coveted 'Chef Hat' award for consecutive years since 2011 till present.

Greenhouse (restaurant)

Greenhouse was a bar/restaurant at 100 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia. Designed by Dutch-born florist, artist, builder and environmentalist Joost Bakker, and opened in 2009, it is a "quirky, eco-friendly restaurant" concept, which has been described as "... a breath of fresh air and a brilliant example of innovation in the restaurant sector." The head chef at Greenhouse was Matt Stone.

Guzman y Gomez is an Australian multinational casual-dining and fast food restaurant chain.

Claude's was a French restaurant in Sydney that operated for 37 years until its closure in 2013. The iconic restaurant, which was originally opened by Claude Corne, was sold to a couple in 1981 who owned the business for approximately 12 years–Josephine and Damien Pignolet, a famous French-Australian chef. In 1993, Damien Pignolet sold the business to Tim Pak Poy, himself selling it in 2004 to a lawyer turned chef, Lee Luk. Luk was the chef and owner until Claude's closure in 2013.

Jock Zonfrillo is a Scottish television presenter and former chef currently based in Melbourne, Australia. He is the founder of The Orana Foundation and one of the current MasterChef Australia judges alongside Andy Allen and Melissa Leong.

The restaurant has received numerous awards, most notably three Michelin stars, as well winning first place in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2020.
