Martin Heron is a sculptor from Northern Ireland working with steel. He is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors [1] and The London Group. His art is found outdoors in public places in Northern Ireland. His sculpture "For the Love of Emer" was Armagh City's first commission public artwork. It is a depiction of legendary Irish hero Cú Chulainn balancing on a 20-foot pole. [2] [3] His piece, Handstanding, is outside a public school in Ravenswood, Ipswich. Another sculpture group carved from tree trunks is found along the Irwell Sculpture Trail. [4]

The Malt Shovel is a 2001 sculpture by Andrew Hazell that stands on the corner of High Street and New Street in Burton upon Trent in England. It was commissioned by East Staffordshire Borough Council in 1998 and funded by a National Lottery grant. The sculpture is a representation of a shovel used for malting, part of the brewery process that dominated the town's history. The stainless-steel sculpture stands 9 metres (30 ft) tall and has a bottle-shaped opening in the blade through which people can walk. The sculpture was unveiled amid local controversy over its accuracy and site.
Dancing with Dandelions or One O'clock Wish is a sculpture depicting a fairy who appears to be fighting the wind while holding a dandelion. It was created by Robin Wight, an artist from Staffordshire. The artist now produces a series of wire sculptures featuring fairies and dandelions.
