Marty Morton is a performer who has acted in many TV, theatre and commercials in Australia and in other countries including England.
Morton was born in the north of England and emigrated to Australia.
In Britain, Morton has appeared on Crackerjack and Seaside Special .
In Australia he has acted in TV shows including Spyforce , Division 4 , The Young Doctors , All Saints , and The Restless Years .
When comedian Rod Hull and his Emu puppet character left the Super Flying Fun Show and Australia, a duplicate of Emu was made so the character could continue on the show as Marty and Emu, much to Hull's annoyance, Marty Morton took over Hull's co-hosting position with Marilyn Mayo in Australia. Not long after, Marty became a regular on the Super Flying Fun Show.
In 2003 he was a guest on Channel 4 documentary on Rod Hull, Rod Hull: A Bird in the Hand.
Morton's pantomime credits include Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Mother Goose and Our Own-Bush Homebush.
He has entertained with his 'sidekicks' Emu, Camel, Jake the Peg and Talkin' Horse.
Morton has appeared with Dorothy Lamour, Diana Trask, Florence Henderson, Al Martino and Human Nature.
Among his talents is the production of sets and props.

Rodney Stephen Hull was a British comedian and popular entertainer on television in the 1970s and 1980s. He rarely appeared without Emu, a mute and highly aggressive arm-length puppet modelled on the Australian bird.
Emu is a four-year-old puppet emu which was given to British entertainer Rod Hull in the 1960s while he was presenting a children's breakfast television programme in Australia. Hull adopted the mute puppet for his cabaret act, and took it with him to the United Kingdom when he returned in 1970. The character was given a mischievous and sometimes aggressive onstage persona, attacking celebrity guests for comic effect, notably on Michael Parkinson's chat show in 1976. Hull and Emu also appeared on several episodes of The Hudson Brothers' comedy show in the United States.
Kevin Eldon is an English actor and comedian. He featured in British comedy television shows of the 1990s including Fist of Fun, This Morning with Richard Not Judy, Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, Big Train, Brass Eye and Jam. The DJ Kat Show was a children's television programme presented by the puppet DJ Kat and his friend Linda de Mol, the sister of Endemol founder John de Mol, which ran from 1 September 1986 to 31 December 1995. The show was first broadcast to Europe on satellite and cable channel Sky Channel and later on Sky One and Sky Europe. The show was aired every weekday morning and afternoon, and throughout its life was home to a particularly large number of imported animated series. A separate version of The DJ Kat Show was later created for the United States where it was aired on stations affiliated with the Fox Broadcasting Company, including WNYW, Fox's flagship station. Grotbags is a children's television programme which ran for three series between 1991 and 1993 about a fictional witch named Grotbags, a spin-off of multiple earlier Rod Hull and Emu shows. Very much in the mould of the traditional pantomime villain, Grotbags was played by actress, singer and comedian Carol Lee Scott in a costume comprising vivid green make-up and wig and a witch's cape and hat. Each episode co-starred Francis Wright and Richard Coombs in multiple puppet roles.

Freddie Stevens born as Frederick William Humphreys was an English actor best known for his role in Tin Men in 1987, and various roles in Emu's TV programmes alongside Carol Lee Scott and Rod Hull. He played the role of Croc, Grotbags long suffering assistant from 1982 to 1984, the role of Robot Redford, Grotbags replacement assistant from 1984 to 1988 and Grovel the man servant from 1988 to 1989. He later appeared in the animated spin off show Rod 'n' Emu in 1991 as the voice of Croc and Redford. He appeared in Emu's Programmes for almost ten years from 1982 to 1991 and over 100 episodes. He also spent many years performing in Pantomime alongside Hull and Scott.
