The Marvin Redpost Series, is a series of eight children's books by the author Louis Sachar. The books first came out in 1992, [1] when Sachar's daughter was four years old, which is why Marvin Redpost has a four-year-old sister.[ citation needed ] The books were re-released in early 2007 with a new cover and different illustrations.

Marvin Redpost: A young boy and the eponymous character of the series. Marvin has red hair and freckles. He gets into adventures which ends up as bad to good. He lives in a family of 5 and often hits the 'red post' on his gate when he leaves or comes back home.
Nick Tuffle: One of Marvin's best friends and classmates. Nick has long hair and wears a long shirt. He gets into fights with his other friend, Stuart, another friend of Marvin, resulting of a love-hate relationship. Regardless, he is loyal and funny.
Stuart Albright: Another classmate of Marvin and one of his best friends. Stuart has curly hair and glasses. He also wears smart clothing, implying that he is the smartest out of the trio. He often gets into fights with Nick, with either one or the other likely to start it, and Marvin is likely to break it up.
Casey Happleton: A classmate of Marvin. Casey is a girl who acts like a tomboy and can be mischievous, especially in class. She is more open to Marvin, besides the other boys in and out of school, which leads Marvin to be mocked as Casey being his 'girlfriend'. She has blonde hair, with one ponytail sticking out of the side rather than the back, which has some boys to find her 'weird'.
Mrs. North: Marvin's school teacher. She is kind-hearted to the class. She leaves Marvin to take care of her dog when she goes on vacation, which shows she has more trust on him than other students.
Clarence: A classmate of Marvin, and the school bully. Marvin becomes a victim when he claims Marvin was picking his nose in the book 'Why Pick on Me?', Leaving Marvin in torment.

Holes is a 1998 young adult novel written by Louis Sachar and first published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. The book centers on Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake, a correctional boot camp in a desert in Texas, after being falsely accused of theft. The plot explores the history of the area and how the actions of several characters in the past have affected Stanley's life in the present. These interconnecting stories touch on themes such as labor, boyhood and masculinity, friendship, meaning of names, illiteracy, and elements of fairy tales.
The Kids from Room 402 is an animated series produced by CinéGroupe and Saban Entertainment that premiered on October 9, 1999 on the Fox Family Channel in the United States, and on August 29, 2000 on Teletoon in Canada. It consists of 52 half-hour episodes, the last of which aired in 2000, with reruns airing until 2005. The series was also seen in Latin America and Europe on Fox Kids, with the latter region still airing the series after the Fox Kids channels were purchased by Disney and changed their name to Jetix; remaining on their schedule until the Jetix channels were once again rebranded as Disney XD.
Wayside School is a series of short story cycle children's books written by Louis Sachar. Titles in the series include Sideways Stories from Wayside School (1978), Wayside School Is Falling Down (1989), Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger (1995), and Wayside School Beneath the Cloud of Doom (2020). The books tell of a school where the contractor misread the blueprints and mistakenly built it sideways. As such the school was constructed as a 30-story skyscraper. The 19th floor was omitted from the plans.
There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom is a 1987 juvenile fiction book from the author Louis Sachar, about a fifth-grade bully named Bradley whose behavior improves after intervention from a school counselor. The title comes from a point when a character, Jeff, is horribly embarrassed after accidentally entering the girls' bathroom while trying to go to the school counselor's office when a teacher gives him the wrong directions.
Nancy Drew: Girl Detective is a 2004–2012 book series which replaced the long-running Nancy Drew mystery series. In 2009 it was released by Bloomsbury Publishing in the United Kingdom under the title, Pig City.
Wayside School Is Falling Down is a 1989 children's, dark comedy, short story cycle, novel by American author Louis Sachar, and the second book in his Wayside School series. Like its predecessor, it contains 30 stories, although some stories are interconnected in more complex ways than they were in the series' first book. Through-lines in the book include the introduction of a new student, Benjamin Nushmutt, and Allison's trip to the nonexistent Miss Zarves' classroom on the 19th story. The book's title comes from the favorite song of one character, Kathy, to the tune of "London Bridge Is Falling Down."

Casey Braxton is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera Home and Away, played by Lincoln Younes. Casey made his first on-screen appearance on 17 February 2011. Younes was about to go travelling when he auditioned for the role of Casey. He changed his plans upon winning the role. In late 2010 the Seven Network began airing trailers for a new trio of characters known as "The River Boys". The trio consist of Casey and his older half-brothers Darryl and Heath Braxton. The River Boys arrive in Summer Bay from neighbouring town Mangrove River. Casey is characterised as being a "modern day Rebel Without a Cause"; who is intelligent and unsure about what he wants out of life. Younes has described him as the "epitome of teenage angst". The River Boys cause trouble in Summer Bay and producers were inspired by Koby Abberton's Bra Boys in the creation process. Casey is portrayed as wanting to distance himself from their bad reputation; but his anger issues often mar his attempts.
