Marvin Singleton (born October 7,1939) is an American politician who served in the Missouri Senate from the 32nd district from 1990 to 2003. [1] [2]
Greene County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census,its population was 298,915. making it the fourth most-populous county in Missouri. Its county seat and most-populous city is Springfield. The county was organized in 1833 and is named after American Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene.
Christian County is located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census,its population was 88,842. Its county seat is Ozark. The county was organized in 1859 and is named after William Christian,a Kentucky soldier of the American Revolutionary War.

Founded in 1905 as the Fourth District Normal School,it is the state's second largest university by enrollment,with an enrollment of 22,926 in the fall semester of 2021. The school also operates a campus in West Plains,Missouri,offering associate degrees. A bachelor's degree in business is offered at Liaoning Normal University in China. The university also operates a fruit research station in Mountain Grove,Missouri and a Department of Defense and Strategic Studies program in Fairfax,Virginia.
The Springfield,Missouri,metropolitan area,as defined by the United States Census Bureau,is an area consisting of five counties in southwestern Missouri,anchored by the city of Springfield,the state's third largest city. Other primary population centers in the metro area include Nixa,Ozark,Republic,Bolivar,Marshfield and Willard. Currently,the city limits of Springfield reach the Ozark city limits at the Christian County line on US 65,the city limits of Republic at James River Freeway on the southwest side of the city,and the Strafford city limits on Route 744 on the northeast side of the city.

It is a Missouri State High School Activities Association Class III school. The present high school building on the southwest side of Maryville opened in the 1965-66 school year.

David M. Schroeder is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Sioux Falls College—now known as the University of Sioux Falls—from 1978 to 1982,Evangel College—now known as Evangel University—from 1983 to 1988,Lindenwood University from 1990 to 1991,and Westmar University from 1992 to 1995,compiling a career college football coaching record of 72–94–3. Schroeder was the first head football coach at Lindenwood,serving for two seasons,from 1990 to 1991,and tallying a mark of 11–8–1. He resigned from his post at Westmar in December 1995 to join his wife in St. Charles,Missouri. Schroeder graduated from Wisconsin State College–Stevens Point—now known as the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point—with a bachelor's degree in 1964 and earned a master's degree at the Northern Michigan University in 1971.
