Mary Gallegos is an American Republican politician who served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2003 until 2005.
Gallegos was first elected to the legislature in 2002,defeating Democrat Chuck Riley. [2] The 29th district covers the cities of Forest Grove and Cornelius,and part of Hillsboro. She lost reelection to Riley in 2004. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Hillsboro is a city in the U.S. state of Oregon and is the county seat of Washington County. Situated in the Tualatin Valley on the west side of the Portland metropolitan area,the city hosts many high-technology companies,such as Intel,locally known as the Silicon Forest. The population was 106,447 at the 2020 census,making Hillsboro the fifth-most populous city in Oregon.

It was founded as Boones Landing because of the Boones Ferry which crossed the Willamette River at the location;the community became Wilsonville in 1880.
