Hillsboro is a city in the U.S. state of Oregon and is the county seat of Washington County. Situated in the Tualatin Valley on the west side of the Portland metropolitan area,the city hosts many high-technology companies,such as Intel,locally known as the Silicon Forest. The population was 106,447 at the 2020 census,making Hillsboro the 5th most populous city in Oregon.
Wilsonville is a city primarily in Clackamas County,Oregon,United States. A portion of the northern section of the city is in Washington County. It was founded as Boones Landing because of the Boones Ferry which crossed the Willamette River at the location;the community became Wilsonville in 1880. Shirley Todd Huffman was an American politician and legal secretary in the U.S. state of Oregon. The Wilsonville Public Library (WPL) is the single-location public library of the city of Wilsonville in the U.S. state of Oregon. Established in 1982,the library moved to its present location near Wilsonville Memorial Park in 1988. Hillsboro Fire &Rescue is the municipal fire department for the city of Hillsboro in the U.S. state of Oregon. Founded in 1880,the department operates five stations with six companies. The department has 123 members and is led by Chief David Downey.
The 2024 United States Senate election in Arizona will be held on November 5,2024,to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the State of Arizona. Primary elections will take place on August 6,2024. This election is the fifth consecutive even-number year in which a senate election will be held in Arizona after elections in 2016,2018,2020,and 2022.
