Dame Elizabeth Mary Keegan, DBE (born 1953) is a retired accountant and civil servant.
Born in 1953, she attended Brentwood County High School and Somerville College, Oxford, before working at Price Waterhouse from 1977; [1] she was appointed their first female audit partner in 1985 and in 1994 became the firm's director of professional standards for Europe. [2]
In 2001, she left to chair the Accounting Standards Board, serving until 2004. [1] That year, she was appointed Head of the Government Finance Profession. [3]
She was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the 2007 Birthday Honours and stepped down in 2008. [3] [4] She was awarded the Institute of Chartered Accountants' Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2014, and is an honorary fellow of Somerville College, Oxford. [1]

Dame Kay Elizabeth Davies is a British geneticist. She is Dr Lee's Professor of Anatomy at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Hertford College, Oxford. She is director of the Medical Research Council (MRC) functional genetics unit, a governor of the Wellcome Trust, a director of the Oxford Centre for Gene Function, and a patron and Senior Member of Oxford University Scientific Society. Her research group has an international reputation for work on Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). In the 1980s, she developed a test which allowed for the screening of foetuses whose mothers have a high risk of carrying DMD.

Dame Fiona Caldicott, was a British psychiatrist and psychotherapist who also served as Principal of Somerville College, Oxford. She was the National Data Guardian for Health and Social Care in England until her death.
Dame Emily Penrose, was an ancient historian and principal of three early women's university colleges in the United Kingdom: Bedford College from 1893 until 1898, Royal Holloway College from 1898 until 1907, and Somerville College, Oxford University from 1907 until 1926. She was the first woman to achieve First Class honours in Classics at Oxford University, and was instrumental in securing the admission of women as full members of the university in 1920. She became Oxford's first Dame in 1927.

She was Professor of Biodiversity and Ecosystems at University College London, and previously Professor of Conservation Science and Director of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Centre for Population Biology, Imperial College London (2006–2012) and Director of Science at the Zoological Society of London (2000–2006).

In December 2021, she was appointed by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to lead the statutory review into the state pension age.
