Gare Montparnasse, officially Gare de Paris-Montparnasse, one of the seven large Paris railway termini, is located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements.
The Réseau Express Régional, commonly abbreviated RER, is a hybrid regional rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. It acts as a combined city-center underground rail system and suburbs-to-city-center regional rail. In the city center, it acts as a faster counterpart of the Paris Métro, having fewer stops.

RER B is one of the five lines in the Réseau Express Régional, a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris, France and its Île-de-France suburbs. The 80-kilometre (50 mi) RER B line crosses the region from north to south, with all trains serving a group of stations in central Paris, before branching out towards the ends of the line.
RER C is one of the five lines in the Réseau Express Régional, a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. The 186-kilometre (116 mi) line crosses the region from north to south. Briefly, between September 1979 and May 1980, the line was known as the Transversal Rive Gauche. The line is operated by SNCF.
Transilien is the brand name given to the commuter rail network serving Île-de-France, the region surrounding and including the city of Paris. The network consists of nine lines: H, J, K, L, N, P, R, U, and V each operated by SNCF, the state-owned French railway company. The lines begin and end in major Parisian stations, except for lines U and V which connect major stations outside the Paris city borders. Unlike the RER network, the Transilien trains do not cross through the Paris city centre.
The Île-de-France tramways is a network of modern tram lines in the Île-de-France region of France. Thirteen lines are currently operational, with extensions and additional lines in both construction and planning stages. Although the system mainly runs in the suburban regions of Paris, lines T3a and T3b run entirely within Paris city limits, while lines T2 and T9 start their routes within Paris' borders. While lines operate independently of each other and are generally unconnected, some connections do exist: between lines T2 and T3a, T3a and T3b, T1 and T5, T1 and T8, T8 and T11 Express, T3a and T9 and T6 and T10. However, the final design of the entire planned tram network is fairly integrated.
Massy TGV station is a TGV railway station in Massy, France. The station was built along the LGV Atlantique and serves as a transfer point to the regional rail system that stops at the nearby Massy-Palaiseau station.

Mantes-la-Jolie is a railway station in the town Mantes-la-Jolie, Yvelines department, northwestern France. It is on the Paris to Le Havre railway at the point where the line to Caen and Cherbourg diverges. The station is planned to be the future terminus of the line E of the Réseau Express Régional (RER), on an extension from Haussmann – Saint-Lazare station in Paris.
Chelles–Gournay is a railway station in Chelles, Seine-et-Marne, France. The station opened in 1849 and is on the Paris-Est–Strasbourg-Ville railway. The station is served by Transilien line P and RER Line E services operated by the SNCF. It will also see services operated by Grand Paris Express in the future.
Paris Métro Line 18 is one of four new lines of Grand Paris Express, a major expansion project of the Paris Métro. Currently under construction, it will link Orly Airport to Versailles via Massy – Palaiseau, the Saclay plateau and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. The line will be 35 kilometers (22 mi) long, and will be fully automated. Subsequently, it is planned to be extended by about 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) from Versailles to Nanterre via Rueil-Malmaison.
Île-de-France tramway Line T12 Express is a suburban tram-train line in Paris, France. Designed by Île-de-France Mobilités and operated by Transkeo T12-T13, it is 20 kilometres long and is projected to carry approximately 40,000 passengers per day. On 22 January 2014, the STIF published a plan presenting the commissioning of the line in 2020. Initially planned to open in 2020, the opening date of the line was postponed to 2022, and in May 2021, the opening date of T12 was delayed again to December 2023.
Villeneuve-le-Roi station is a railway station in Villeneuve-le-Roi, Val-de-Marne, Île-de-France, France. The station was opened on 29 May 1914 and is on the Paris–Bordeaux railway. The station is served by the RER Line C, which is operated by SNCF. The station serves the commune of Villeneuve-le-Roi.
Transilien Line V is a railway line serving the southwestern part of Île-de-France. It connects Versailles-Chantiers and Massy-Palaiseau. It belongs to the Transilien network operated by SNCF, the French national railway. Unlike the other Transilien lines, Line V lies completely outside the city limits of Paris.
