The fifth season of MasterChef South Africa was announced on 17 January 2024, premiered 13 July 2024 on SABC 3 and concluded on 23 November. [1] The season was won by Bridget Mangwandi while Nabila Shamshum was the runner-up. [2]
Returning judges for this season were Zola Nene and Justine Drake. They were joined by new judge Katlego Mlambo. [3] Filming took place from 29 April – 8 June 2024 in Cape Town. [4] Series Director was Geoffrey Butler.

The first season of the African reality television series MasterChef South Africa began on 20 March 2012 and aired on M-Net. The season judges were Pete Goffe-Wood, Andrew Atkinson and Benny Masekwameng.
MasterChef Selebriti Malaysia is a Malaysian competitive cooking game show. It is the spin-off of MasterChef Malaysia, itself an adaptation of the British show MasterChef, and which features a celebrity contestants casting. Its production began in May 2012 and premiered on Astro Ria and Mustika HD on 25 May 2012.

MasterChef Asia is a regional competitive cooking game show based on the original British show MasterChef. The show is produced by Lifetime Asia. A total of 15 home cooks from various regions across Asia competed in the first season of MasterChef Asia. The show is judged by Hong Kong-born, culinary chef Susur Lee; 3-Michelin starred chef Bruno Ménard; and Singapore-born Audra Morrice, a MasterChef Australia finalist. From the MasterChef kitchen to off-site and overseas challenges, the 15 episodes will culminate in one home-cook winning the title of the first ever MasterChef Asia.
MasterChef Vietnam 2015 is the third season of the reality TV show MasterChef Vietnam. The original MasterChef program was developed by BHD Company in United Kingdom with Vietnam Television buying copyright and implementation. Unlike most series around the world, local celebrities will compete for prize money along with amateur cooks. Christine Ha, the first blind and Asian winner for season 3 of US version of Master Chef became the third judge, having been a guest judge in the previous two series and in MasterChef US season 4 and MasterChef US season 6. She is the first former contestant and winner worldwide to become a judge.

The sixth season of MasterChef Canada aired its special 2-hour season premiere on April 8, 2019 on CTV, concluding on June 10, 2019 with Jennifer Crawford of Kingston, Nova Scotia crowned as the winner and Andre Bhagwandat of Scarborough, Ontario finishing as the runner-up. Crawford became the first non-binary person and the first person from the Maritimes to win the competition. In a new twist this season, each judge selected six home cooks to invite to the Top 18, with each member receiving personal invitations delivered via courier.
MasterChef Latino is an American Spanish-language competitive cooking reality television series based on the British series MasterChef. It aired on Telemundo from January 14, 2018 to August 11, 2019, for two seasons. It was on hiatus for three years until February 10, 2022, when a revival of the series began airing on Estrella TV. The series follows amateur and home chefs competing against one another for the title of MasterChef.
MasterChef Junior Thailand Season 2 is a reality cooking competition. It premiered on September 22, 2019, on Channel 7, accepting applications for contestants aged 8–13 years. M.L. Pasan Svastivatana, M.L. Kwantip Devakula and Pongtawat Chalermkittichai all returned as judges in this season. Piyathida Mittiraroch also returned as the host.
MasterChef Thailand is the Thai version of the competitive reality TV series MasterChef which premiered on Channel 7 on February 21, 2021.
The seventh season of MasterChef Canada, titled MasterChef Canada: Back to Win, premiered on February 14, 2021, on CTV and concluded on May 16, 2021. Filmed in June 2020, this is an all-star season, featuring returning contestants from previous seasons.
The second season of MasterChef Singapore began airing on 21 February 2021 and ended on 25 April 2021 on Mediacorp Channel 5.
