Matee Joseph Molefe is a South African sailor, currently serving as Master at Arms of the South African Navy, the highest enlisted post in the Navy. [1] [2]

South African Navy naval warfare branch of the Republic of South Africas armed forces

The South African Navy (SAN) is the naval warfare branch of the South African National Defence Force. The role of the navy is to prepare for and to conduct naval operations in defence of the South African state, its citizens and interests and to carry out peacetime operations in support of other national objectives.

Malefe was part of the ANC’s armed wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe before being integrated into the Navy in 1994. [1] He served on the SAS Mendi and was appointed Coxswain of the SAS Isandlwana. He was appointed Fleet Master at Arms in 2016 and promoted to Master at Arms of the Navy on 1 February 2018. [1]
