Matt Applebaum (born January 20, 1984) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the offensive line coach for Boston College. Applebaum played college football at UConn, where he started on the offensive line for two years. [1]
Applebaum started his coaching career at Central Connecticut State University, where he was the tight ends coach. He spent five months there before leaving for the NFL, joining the Washington Redskins in 2008 as a player personnel/coaching assistant. [2] In 2011, Applebaum departed the Redskins to become an offensive graduate assistant/quality control coach for the University of Miami. [2] He spent two years there before being hired as the offensive line coach at Bucknell University in 2013. [3] In 2014, Applebaum returned to the NFL to become an offensive assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars. [4] He left the Jaguars in 2015 to become the offensive line coach at Southeastern Louisiana University. [5] In 2016, Applebaum became the offensive line coach at Davidson College. [6] The next year, he was promoted to offensive coordinator while continuing to serve as the offensive line coach. [7] Applebaum was hired by Towson University in 2018 to be their offensive line coach. [8] In 2020, he became a part of Boston College's staff as their offensive line coach. [9]
On February 12, 2022, it was announced that Applebaum would be leaving Boston College to become the offensive line coach of the Miami Dolphins. [10] On February 2, 2023, the Dolphins parted ways with Applebaum. [11] On February 15, 2023, Applebaum was named the offensive line coach at Boston College, returning for his second stint in the same role. [12]
Marco Darnell Coleman is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive line coach for Georgia Tech and former assistant defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). A former American football defensive end, the fourteen-year veteran originally was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 NFL Draft as a first round pick. He played at Georgia Tech and won the 1990 college football national championship and went to one Pro Bowl before retiring from professional football after the 2005 season.

Josh Beekman is the current American football offensive line coach with Concord University and a former guard in the National Football League (NFL). He played high school football in his hometown of Amsterdam, New York. He played college football at Boston College. Beekman was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with the team. He was a member of the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League (UFL) and the Indianapolis Colts following his tenure with the Bears.
James T. Reid is an American football coach and former player. Reid served as head football coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) from 1986 to 1991, University of Richmond from 1995 through 2003, and Virginia Military Institute (VMI) from 2006 until 2007, compiling an overall college football record of 87–101–3.
Anthony Joseph Sparano III was an American football coach. He served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and is the only NFL head coach to have led a team to the playoffs the year following a one-win season, and only the second to conduct a ten-game turnaround, both of which he accomplished in his first season with the Dolphins. He was fired by the Dolphins in December 2011 after a 4-9 start to the season, Sparano's worst start in his four-year tenure with the Dolphins.
Peter Edwards Carmichael Jr. is an American football coach who is currently senior offensive assistant coach for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He previously spent 18 seasons as an offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints, the last 15 of those as offensive coordinator. He was part of the Saints team that won Super Bowl XLIV.
Shane Waldron is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). Jack Bicknell Jr. is an American football coach who is currently the offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin. He was the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University from 1999 to 2006, compiling a record of 43–52 in eight seasons. He then served as assistant head coach and offensive line coach for Boston College for two seasons, before becoming the assistant offensive line coach for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) in January 2008. Bicknell spent the 2013 season as offensive line coach for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers before being fired on January 3, 2014. He worked as an assistant coach with the Miami Dolphins in 2014 and 2015. He then returned to the college ranks, coaching at Ole Miss from 2017 to 2019, Auburn in 2020, Louisville in 2021, North Carolina in 2022, and is currently coaching offensive line at Wisconsin. Bicknell is the son of former Boston College head coach Jack Bicknell and the older brother of Bob Bicknell, who was most recently wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals and the senior offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints.
Edward Charles Foley Jr. is an American football coach and former player. He was the assistant special teams coach for the Carolina Panthers from 2020 until mid-2022, working under head coach Matt Rhule, who he had previously worked with at Temple University. Prior to coaching the Panthers, Foley primarily coached college football, including head coach positions at Fordham University and Temple University.
Dave DeGuglielmo is an American football coach for the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League (UFL). He was most recently the offensive line coach for the Boston College Eagles. He has previously been offensive line coach for the NFL's New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and New York Giants. DeGuglielmo was part of two Super Bowl-winning teams in his coaching career; the 2007 New York Giants and 2014 New England Patriots.
Michael Lee McDaniel is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). A former long-time assistant and descendant of the Shanahan coaching tree, McDaniel began his NFL coaching career as an intern for the Denver Broncos in 2005. McDaniel served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers from 2017 to 2021, holding his first offensive coordinator position in 2021. McDaniel has appeared in Super Bowl LI with the Falcons in 2017, and Super Bowl LIV with the 49ers in 2020 as an assistant coach alongside Kyle Shanahan.
